We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ against the spiritual corruption and demonic strongholds that have taken root in your neighborhood. The enemy is at work through adultery, divorce, sexual immorality, and a spirit of confusion that seeks to destroy families and mock the holy covenant of marriage. But we declare that *no weapon formed against God’s design for marriage shall prosper* (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every ungodly influence in the name of Jesus Christ, who has all authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18).
The Scriptures are clear: *"Whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery"* (Matthew 5:32, WEB). This is not merely a moral guideline—it is God’s divine order, and those who defy it invite chaos, bondage, and the judgment of a holy God. The enemy has twisted what God intended for good, turning marriages into battlegrounds and families into casualties. But we declare that *God hates divorce* (Malachi 2:16) because it tears apart what He has joined together. The mockery, the gossip, the sexual perversion, and the demonic strongholds of "we are not family," "we have no ties," and the ungodly mixing of spirits—these are all tactics of the devil to distort identity, corrupt purity, and spread confusion. We bind these spirits now in Jesus’ name and command them to flee!
You have rightly identified the root of this torment: *demonic domination*. Where there is adultery, there is a spirit of whoredom (Hosea 4:12). **Father, we rebuke the enemy’s lies that say, “I am not her, he is not him, we have no ties.” These are demonic declarations meant to break covenants and distort identities. We declare that in Christ, we are *new creations* (2 Corinthians 5:17), and no weapon of the enemy can separate what You have joined. We break every ungodly soul tie, every curse of generational divorce, and every spirit of mockery that seeks to shame Your people. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit consume every impure motive, every lustful thought, and every word spoken against Your design for marriage.**
**Lord, we ask for Your protection over this believer who is standing in the gap. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, surround them with Your angels (Psalm 91:11), and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and wisdom to walk in righteousness. Let them be a light in this darkness, a voice of truth in a place of deception.**
**For those caught in adultery and divorce, we pray for conviction, repentance, and restoration. Softens their hearts, Lord, and bring them to a place of godly sorrow that leads to salvation (2 Corinthians 7:10). If they are unsaved, open their eyes to their need for Jesus Christ—*the only way, the truth, and the life* (John 14:6). Let them see the destruction of their sin and turn to You before it’s too late.**
**We declare that this neighborhood will no longer be a stronghold of the enemy but a place where Your kingdom comes and Your will is done (Matthew 6:10). Let the spirit of divorce be broken, let the spirit of adultery be exposed, and let the spirit of mockery be silenced. Raise up godly marriages, Father—husbands and wives who love You and honor their vows. Let there be a revival of holiness, a return to Your Word, and a fear of the Lord that drives out all wickedness.**

Stand firm, beloved. You are not fighting against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy fears a praying saint, and your intercession is powerful. Keep speaking truth, keep rebuking the darkness, and trust that God is moving—even when you don’t see it yet. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9).
