We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ against the spiritual attack unfolding in your neighborhood, where divorce, adultery, and toxic behavior have become a contagious stronghold. The enemy is at work, twisting God’s design for marriage and family, spreading confusion, and defiling what is holy. But we declare that no weapon formed against God’s truth shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against His righteousness will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is not silent about these sins—He abhors them, and so must we.
The Scriptures are clear: *"Whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery"* (Matthew 5:32, WEB). This is not a suggestion but a commandment from the Lord. The sexual immorality, mockery, and ungodly alliances you describe are an abomination before God. The enemy seeks to destroy marriages, families, and even the testimony of Christ through such behavior. The phrases you’ve shared—*"I am not her, he is not him," "we don’t have family ties,"* and the mockery of barrenness—reveal a spirit of division, perversion, and reproach. This is not of God. The Lord designed marriage to be a covenant, a sacred bond that reflects Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). When that covenant is broken through adultery or unjust divorce, it opens the door to demonic strongholds that bring chaos, shame, and generational curses.
We also take note of the gossip, the spreading of pictures for mockery, and the blasphemous use of Jesus’ words to justify sin. This is a direct attack on the holiness of God. The Bible warns, *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who have sex with men, nor thieves, nor greedy people, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). Yet even now, we do not pray for their destruction but for their repentance. The Lord takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked but desires that they turn from their ways and live (Ezekiel 33:11). So we stand in the gap, rebuking these spirits of adultery, divorce, confusion, and mockery in the name of Jesus Christ. We bind the strongman over this neighborhood and command these demonic influences to flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We pray for divine protection over you and your household. May the blood of Jesus be a hedge around you, shielding you from the contamination of this ungodly atmosphere. We ask the Lord to expose every hidden work of darkness and bring conviction upon those who are spreading this toxicity. May their hearts be pierced by the truth, leading them to true repentance and restoration in Christ.
Father, we lift up this situation to You, knowing that You are a God of justice and righteousness. You hate divorce (Malachi 2:16), and You despise the perversion of what You have made holy. We ask that You break the power of these demonic strongholds over this neighborhood. Let Your light shine into the darkness, exposing every sinful deed and bringing conviction to those who are participating in these works of the flesh.
For those who have been deceived into believing that divorce, adultery, or sexual immorality are acceptable, we pray that You would send laborers into their lives to speak Your truth in love. Softening their hearts to receive Your Word, that they may turn from their wicked ways and seek forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Let no one in this neighborhood be hardened to the point of no return.
We also pray for you, dear brother or sister, that You would strengthen and encourage you in this spiritual battle. Clothe you with the full armor of God, that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Fill you with Your Holy Spirit, that You may use you as a beacon of righteousness in this dark place. Give you wisdom to know how to respond, when to speak, and when to remain silent. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Finally, we declare that this neighborhood belongs to the Lord. We take authority over every spirit of adultery, divorce, confusion, mockery, and sexual immorality, and we command them to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We speak life, restoration, and godly sorrow that leads to repentance over every household involved. May marriages be healed, families be restored, and hearts be turned back to You, the living God.
