The enemy is at work, twisting God’s design, fostering bitterness, and using gossip, mockery, and perversion to destroy lives. But we serve a God who is greater, and His Word is a sword to cut through every lie and stronghold.
The Scriptures are clear: marriage is a covenant before God, and what He has joined together, no man—or demon—should separate. Jesus Himself said in **Matthew 5:32 (WEB)**, *"But I tell you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the cause of sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is put away commits adultery."* Yet what we see here is not just divorce but a spirit of lawlessness, where vows are broken without repentance, where sexual sin is flaunted, and where families are torn apart by deceit. This is not of God. **1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (WEB)** warns, *"Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. We also recognize the pain of being surrounded by such toxicity—the constant negativity, the ungodly influences, and the sense of being spiritually suffocated. You are not called to absorb this poison or to remain silent in the face of it. **Proverbs 4:14-15 (WEB)** warns, *"Don’t enter into the path of the wicked. Don’t walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, and don’t pass by it. Turn from it, and pass on."* If possible, we urge you to seek refuge—whether physically, by removing yourself from unnecessary exposure to this environment, or spiritually, by fortifying your home and heart with prayer, Scripture, and godly fellowship. If you are unable to move, then let your home be a sanctuary where the name of Jesus is lifted high, where His Word is spoken, and where the enemy’s schemes are bound.

We lift up our brother/sister who is surrounded by the stench of sin—divorce, adultery, sexual immorality, gossip, and demonic confusion. Father, we rebuke the spirit of divorce that is infecting families, the spirit of adultery that is defiling marriages, and the spirit of lust that is perverting what You have made holy. We bind the demonic forces that are whispering lies like, ‘I am not her, he is not him,’ seeking to erase covenants and replace them with chaos. We break the power of every ungodly soul tie, every sexual sin, and every curse that has been spoken over these relationships. By the blood of Jesus, we cancel every assignment of the enemy to spread this corruption further.
Lord, we ask for Your fire to fall upon this neighborhood—not to destroy, but to purify. Let conviction come upon those who are living in rebellion. Expose their sin, Lord, and let them see the destruction they are causing. Bring godly sorrow that leads to repentance, that they may turn from their wickedness and seek Your forgiveness. If they refuse, then let their influence be cut off. Let their mockery fall on deaf ears, and let their gossip return to them empty.
Father, we ask for a hedge of protection around our brother/sister. Shield them from the negativity, the spiritual contamination, and the emotional toll of this environment. If it is Your will, open a door for them to relocate to a place of peace, where Your presence is honored. If they must remain, then let their home be a lighthouse—a place where Your truth is proclaimed and where the enemy cannot penetrate.
We plead the blood of Jesus over every word spoken against them, every scheme to drag them into this mess, and every attempt to make them doubt Your goodness. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in discernment, wisdom, and boldness to stand against this wickedness without fear.
And finally, Lord, we pray for the children and families affected by this sin. Let them see the truth—that marriage is sacred, that sexuality is a gift to be honored within Your design, and that repentance is always possible. Raise up godly men and women in this community who will stand for righteousness, who will rebuke sin, and who will point others to Christ.
