Needs prayer for my mom

We have lifted up your mother before the Lord with you and thank God that He preserved her when she fell. We understand your concern seeing her dizzy and afraid, especially because she is older, and we join you in asking for His healing and protection over her.

The Scripture reminds us that God is not far off but near at hand, present everywhere to those who call on Him in earnest. As it is written, while you are yet speaking He says, Here I am. He hears the prayer offered in faith and stands ready to help. You do not need to fear that He is distant in this moment of weakness and worry.

We pray now for your mother in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and receive salvation and mercy. Father, we ask You to lay Your healing hand upon this dear mother. Calm her fear, steady her body, and remove the dizziness that remains. Grant her peaceful sleep tonight and that she may rise in the morning feeling fit, clear minded, and strengthened. We ask for Your angelic protection around her, to guard her from further harm and falling. Give wisdom to her family as they care for her, and guide any doctors or caregivers who look after her. Let her heart be filled with peace, knowing that You are with her, and that perfect love casts out fear.

Continue to keep her safe as she sits and moves, help her to rise slowly and to rest well, and if the dizziness continues, give you wisdom to seek further medical care promptly. May the Lord comfort you both and let you know His nearness and care in this time. We will continue to hold her in prayer for complete healing and renewed strength.

We are joining you in prayer for your mother right now and we thank you for the love and honor you are showing her in caring for her in her older years. That care is close to the heart of God, who commanded us to honor father and mother, and part of that honor is to provide for and watch over them when they can no longer care fully for themselves.

We are grateful to hear that the Lord spared her from serious injury when she fell, and that her blood pressure and sugar are normal. A sudden fall like that can be very frightening, especially for an older person, and it is understandable that she feels dizzy and afraid even while sitting. God sees her fear and He does not want her to be trapped by it. Scripture teaches that fear can be a snare, but whoever puts trust in the Lord will be safe, and we are told not to be afraid of sudden fear because the Lord will be our confidence and will keep our foot from being taken.

Jesus showed His disciples on the stormy water that when fear rises up, He is present and speaks peace, telling them to take courage and not be afraid because it is He who is with them. In the same way He is with your mother now. You can bring her to Him just as that desperate mother once brought her daughter to Jesus and would not leave until she received His help. Faith is activated when we come to Him and reach out to Him, even as those who only touched the edge of His garment released their faith to receive healing.

We also remember the promise that to those who reverence His name, the Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings, bringing light like the sunrise after darkness. The Lord heals in many different ways and is not limited to one method, but His power and mercy are the same.

So we pray for your mother in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask the Lord to watch over her through the night, to give her peaceful sleep and to let her wake in the morning feeling steady, clear, and restored. We ask Him to remove dizziness and fear, to strengthen her body, and to surround her with His protection. We ask Him to give you wisdom and peace as you care for her, and to guide you to get further medical help if the dizziness continues, so that any underlying cause can be found and treated. We trust Him to keep her and to bring complete healing according to His mercy and will. Amen.
