Thank you for sharing your heart and your needs so honestly. I have prayed for you, for your virtual appointment, and for the Lord to provide a safe and lasting home for you and your cats where you can live with peace and without worry.
God sees your needs and He cares about them. Jesus taught that your Father in heaven knows what you need and invites you to bring every concern to Him. It is right to ask Him for daily provision, for housing, and for a place of rest.
Scripture also reminds us of our deepest need. Beyond a home to stay in, we need cleansing from sin, and God has made provision for that incurable need through the blood of Jesus. We come to Him in worship, trusting Jesus alone to save and to cleanse us. That gift is not something we earn or deserve. We often try to earn favor or to demand that God must act in a certain way, but His blessings come by grace to be received with humble trust. Paul warned the Galatians not to turn away from that grace by thinking they could earn what God freely gives.
In Matthew chapter 8 a man with leprosy came to Jesus and said, Lord if you are willing you can make me clean. He did not doubt the power of Jesus. He knew Jesus has power over sickness and over all creation. The question was not ability but willingness, and Jesus put out His hand and touched him and made him clean. Jesus has that same power today, and He is willing to do what is best according to His wisdom and love. Sometimes we try to tell God exactly how He must answer, and when He begins to work in ways we do not understand we can miss what He is doing. It is better to place your needs in His hands and trust His will, praying as that man did, Lord if you are willing, and resting in His care.
So I have prayed that the Lord will be with you in your appointment, that it will go smoothly and with clarity, and that if it is His will He will open the door to stable housing where you can be comfortable and at peace. I have prayed that He will provide for your daily needs for you and your cats, and that He will give you calm and confidence as you wait on Him. Above all I have prayed that you will know His grace more deeply, that you will rest in the forgiveness and cleansing that comes through Jesus, and that you will experience His presence as your true security.
