Needing prayer.

I have been going through the lowest valley that I have ever gone through. This valley has been going on for well over a year. The good thing in this valley, was that it brought me back to my knees before the Living God. Regrettably in my life, I used Him as the God of my valleys, once He got me through, I would turn back to my own sinful ways.

I am going through a financial crisis that there is no way out but by Him, and I believe that He is seeing me through. I am an electrical contractor, and you know how the economy has been lately for the building industry. My customers were already shut down last year, even before this financial crisis. I walked down this valley for awhile, believing God would help me through, but I didn't turn to Him fully for quite awhile.

This was the reason that I originally came to this site, looking for prayers for my deliverence, but it also became a quest to draw closer to our Lord. I believe that I have had a calling placed in my life, I had felt that years ago, and that may have been one of the reasons that I walked away from Him. This problem, I believe was put in my life, in order to draw me back, and increase my faith and trust.

After I started here, I have had some amazing confirmations that He was moving in my life, and seeing me through, I just had to keep standing on His promises, and have trust in Him. Jobs that I thought would bring me out of this cannot get funding now, companies with good credit frozen out with the credit squeeze. But if those came through, there may have been a doubt if He was responsible. One project that has been near bankruptcy for a few years now, looks now like through a miracle has been resurrected, with new bank financing. That is a God that can work miracles!

The reason I am telling you this, is that I have become complacent. I'm still praying for this miracle to come to manifestation, and to start walking out of this valley. I believe He is doing just that, but as ferverently as I pray for this by myself, I have not asked for His children right here on this site for prayers lately.

I would like you to pray for me, for my finances, family, and especially for my walk with Him. I know that He is pulling me through, but I should have kept asking for prayers. That way we all see how He is working in our lives, and for Him to receive the glory. Mark from this site left me a prayer in a private e-mail, he prayed it last night over me. He said he felt compelled to pray for me, and his words described exactly what I was going through. That is the movement of God. What an awesome God He is!!!

Praise the Lord, he is faithful and just. All we have to do is trust him. Lord we ask for a pouring out of your financial blessing on Harold. Fill his cup till it is overflowing. We give you all the glory and praise for what you have done so far. We thank you in Jesus Name. Amen

Dearest God of Mercy, I lift up Brother Harold to you and I ask that you would bring him a breakthrough with his buisness. Father I ask that you would bless the work of his hands and lift him to a place where he is confidently blessed by your hand of favor. Father you are calling him and working on him to draw him to a higher purpose. How amazing is your ability to use those of us that "think" we are the most unworthy. As your word teaches us these are the ones you find the greatest. Father pour your oil on the head of Harold and lead him to the special blessing he knows he has been called for. Father I ask that you open the door way to the place of your calling where you are faithful to prosper all that concerns him. We ask these things for your glory in Jesus name.

Thanks to everyone of you, the love that is felt by fellow Christians reminds us of the love that God has for us. I thank you again and I know that I will have a testimony of praise for what He is having come about!

Heavenly Father,

Your servant Harold has prayed for a closer walk with You. Please anoint him Father for the service that You have in mind for him. Grant him an intimate relationship with Your Spirit, and keep a watchful eye over him as he goes through the valley. Encourage him and sustain him during this time; keep him close and do not allow him to stray when he reaches the mountain top.

Lord, I ask for financial provision for Harold. Despite our economic crisis, please allow Harold to find sufficient work to supply his needs. Bless the work of his hands and allow him to show others Your goodness. It is in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
