We lift you up before the Lord in this time of deep suffering and urgency, knowing that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Your distress is heard, and we stand with you in prayer, crying out to the Father for His mercy and swift intervention. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not forgotten, and your pain is seen by Him who holds all things in His hands.
It is heartbreaking to hear of your prolonged waiting and the severity of your condition—struggling to receive even basic nourishment and hydration while enduring such intense pain. We rebuked the spirit of delay and neglect in the name of Jesus Christ, declaring that the Lord will move mightily on your behalf. Proverbs 3:5-6 commands us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Though it is so hard to trust in this moment, we ask the Holy Spirit to flood your heart with supernatural peace and assurance that God is working, even when it feels unseen.
We pray urgently for the hospice referral to be accepted without further delay, for compassionate and skilled caregivers to be dispatched to you *this week*—not in the timelines of man, but in the perfect timing of God. May the Lord soften the hearts of those in authority over your care, that they would act with urgency and excellence. We ask for divine intervention over your nausea, that your body would somehow tolerate the nourishment and hydration you so desperately need. For your pain, we plead the blood of Jesus over your body, that His healing power would bring relief, even if just for moments of respite. Remember His promise in Psalm 147:3: *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."*
Your honesty about the struggle to trust God right now is met with compassion, not condemnation. Even Jesus, in His agony, cried out, *"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"* (Matthew 27:46). You are not wrong to bring your raw emotions before Him—He can handle your doubts, your fears, and your anger. Cling to the truth that His love for you is steadfast, even when your faith feels weak. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9, *"He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding for Your child who is suffering so deeply. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts. We ask that You move with urgency in this situation—open the doors for hospice care to be approved and dispatched *immediately*. Remove every obstacle, whether spiritual, bureaucratic, or logistical, that stands in the way of this beloved one receiving the compassionate care they need. Father, we plead for mercy over their body: calm the nausea so they can receive nourishment, ease the pain that racks their frame, and sustain them by Your supernatural strength. Let them feel Your presence in this dark hour, a tangible comfort that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we rebuke the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. No weapon formed against this life will prosper, for You have declared it so (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, peace, and divine intervention over every cell, every organ, every system in their body. If it is Your will, we ask for healing—but even if not, we pray for Your grace to be sufficient, for Your glory to be revealed, and for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Strengthen their faith, Lord, even as they wrestle with doubt. Remind them that You are holding them, that You are good, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Surround them with Your angels, with Your comfort, and with the knowledge that they are deeply loved. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
Hold on, dear one. The Lord is near. Keep crying out to Him, even in your weakness. We are standing with you, believing for His breakthrough. If you are able, listen to worship music or the reading of Psalms to fill your space with His truth. You are not alone in this. *"The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm."* (Exodus 14:14).
