Need to lose more weight Lord Help

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please I need strength motivation encouragement, so exhausted. I haven’t even done my wrapping or cards or anything yet for Christmas, which is right upon us have so much to do and not much time left. Have many chores to do and appointments? And fighting these legal battles. Managers are relentless, corrupt and so unfair Bring your strength, Lord and take this all from me. Very worried about our future Jesus please help and mightily support and protect us all. Your mighty Blood covering over all of this Amen

We hear your cry for help, dear sister or brother in Christ, and we come alongside you in prayer, lifting up every burden to the Lord who cares deeply for you. You are carrying so much—weight loss struggles, the pressures of the season, legal battles, and the weight of uncertainty about the future. It is no wonder you feel exhausted. But we want to remind you that the Lord does not leave you to carry these burdens alone. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest," Jesus says in Matthew 11:28. His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), and His grace is sufficient for you in this very moment.

First, we must address the weight loss struggle with both compassion and truth. While it is good to care for the body God has given you, as it is His temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), we must also guard our hearts against the lie that our worth is tied to our appearance or size. The world bombards us with messages that say otherwise, but God’s Word tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and our value comes from being His beloved child, not from a number on a scale. That said, if this is a matter of stewardship—caring for your health to better serve the Lord—then we pray for discipline and self-control, which are fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). But let your motivation be rooted in honoring God, not in the approval of man or the world’s standards.

We also want to gently rebuke the spirit of overwhelm that has taken hold of you. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to be paralyzed by the mountain of tasks before you—Christmas preparations, chores, appointments, and legal battles. But God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We encourage you to take these tasks one step at a time, trusting that the Lord will order your steps (Proverbs 16:9). Write down what must be done and ask the Holy Spirit to help you prioritize. Remember, the Lord is not asking you to do it all perfectly—He is asking you to trust Him in the process. Even the small act of wrapping a gift or writing a card can be an offering of worship when done with a heart surrendered to Him.

The legal battles you face are particularly heavy, and we stand with you in prayer against the corruption and injustice you are enduring. The enemy is indeed relentless, but we declare that he is a defeated foe. Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and His blood covers you in every battle. We rebuke the spirit of oppression and fear that seeks to weigh you down, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your defender, your advocate, and your righteous judge. We pray that He would expose every lie, every corrupt scheme, and every unrighteous act against you. May His justice prevail, and may you walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as you wait on Him.

Your concern for the future is understandable, but we must remind you that worry is not your portion. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:34, "Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient." The Lord knows your needs, and He promises to provide for you (Philippians 4:19). We pray that you would fix your eyes on Him, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and not on the uncertainties of tomorrow. His plans for you are for good and not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Now, let us lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother or sister who is feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and burdened. Lord, You see every struggle—the weight loss journey, the pressures of this season, the legal battles, and the fears about the future. We ask that You would be their strength in weakness, their peace in the storm, and their hope in uncertainty. Father, we rebuke the spirit of overwhelm and declare that You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. Help them to cast every care upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we pray for discipline and self-control in their health journey, but more than that, we pray for a heart that seeks You above all else. Let their motivation be rooted in honoring You, not in the world’s standards. Give them wisdom to prioritize their tasks and the strength to take them one step at a time. We declare that the enemy’s plans against them will not prosper, and that Your justice will prevail in their legal battles. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind.

Father, we ask that You would remind them of Your faithfulness. You have brought them through every trial thus far, and You will not abandon them now. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in power, love, and a sound mind. Help them to trust You with their future, knowing that You hold their days in Your hands. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and we ask that You would fill them with Your joy and peace as they wait on You. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on these scriptures in the days ahead:
- "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22)
- "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)
- "The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him." (Psalm 28:7)

You are not alone in this. The Lord is with you, and so are we, standing in agreement with you for breakthrough, peace, and victory. Keep pressing into Him, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We're right here with you, sister/brother. We know the weight you're carrying feels immense, but remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's not asking you to do everything at once, but to trust Him in each step.

First, let's tackle the weight loss journey. It's not about the number on the scale, but about being a good steward of the body God's given you. Let's pray for discipline and self-control, but more importantly, for a heart that loves and honors God in this process. The world might shout lies about worth and value, but God's Word tells us we're fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and our worth comes from being His beloved child.

Now, about those tasks piling up. It's okay to feel overwhelmed, but don't let that spirit take hold. God hasn't given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Let's take this one step at a time, trusting that God will order your steps (Proverbs 16:9). Even wrapping a gift or writing a card can be an act of worship when done with a heart surrendered to Him.

And those legal battles, we're standing with you in prayer. The enemy might be relentless, but he's a defeated foe. Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and His blood covers you in every battle. We rebuke the spirit of oppression and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lastly, about the future. Worry isn't your portion. Jesus tells us not to be anxious for tomorrow (Matthew 6:34). God knows your needs and promises to provide for you (Philippians 4:19). Fix your eyes on Him, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust Him with your future.

Let's pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
