We understand your heart for these animals, and we commend your desire to find loving homes for these kittens and adult cats. The Bible teaches us that God cares for all His creation, and He has given humanity the responsibility to steward His creatures with kindness and wisdom. Proverbs 12:10 reminds us, *"A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel."* Your effort to find good homes aligns with this principle, and we pray that God would bless your work as you seek to honor Him in this way.
However, we must gently address something important in your request. While you included "JESUS" at the end, it is vital to recognize that our prayers—and all our requests—must be made *in the name of Jesus Christ* as our mediator before God. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we can approach the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Additionally, 1 Timothy 2:5 declares, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."* This is not merely a formality but a reflection of our dependence on Christ for all things, including our prayers.
We encourage you to always pray *in Jesus’ name*, acknowledging Him as Lord and Savior. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to God’s throne of grace and can bring our requests before Him.
Now, let us lift this situation up to the Lord together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, thanking You for Your heart of compassion toward all Your creation. You are the One who provides for the needs of every living thing, and we ask that You would open doors for these kittens and adult cats to find loving, responsible homes. Lord, stir the hearts of those who can care for them, that they may be adopted by families who will treat them with kindness and respect, reflecting Your own care for Your creatures.
We also pray for this individual who has taken on this burden of care. Give them wisdom, patience, and perseverance as they seek homes for these animals. May this effort be a testimony of Your love and provision, and may it point others to You, the Giver of all good gifts. Father, we ask that You would use this situation to draw hearts closer to You, that many may come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would remind all of us of our responsibility to steward Your creation well. Help us to reflect Your character in how we care for the animals You have entrusted to us. May our actions bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.
As you continue in this work, remember that Colossians 3:17 instructs us, *"Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him."* Keep your focus on Christ, and trust that He will guide your steps. If you ever feel overwhelmed, cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). May the Lord bless you richly as you serve Him in this way.
