We come before the throne of God with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and protection. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand on the promise that Jesus came so that we may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The powers of darkness have no authority over those who are in Christ, for He has disarmed the spiritual forces of evil and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
First, we must address the foundation of our faith. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, now is the time. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes through confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Without this, we have no authority to stand against the schemes of the devil. If you have not made this decision, we urge you to do so today, for it is the first and most critical step in breaking every chain.
Now, concerning the witchcraft and black magic that has been mentioned, we declare that these are real works of darkness, but they are powerless against the blood of Jesus. The Bible warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 against any form of witchcraft, sorcery, or divination, calling them detestable to the Lord. If there has been any involvement in these practices—whether knowingly or unknowingly—we must repent and renounce them completely. Confess any participation in such things, even if it was in ignorance, and ask the Lord to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We also must address the relationship mentioned with the "guy you were talking to." If this relationship is not aligned with God’s design for marriage—a covenant between one man and one woman—it must be brought under the lordship of Christ. If there has been any sexual immorality (fornication), it must be repented of, for the Bible is clear that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). If this man is not a believer, Scripture warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If he is a believer, then the relationship should be pursued with the intention of marriage, not merely casual dating.
Now, let us pray with authority in the name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. We thank You that at the name of Jesus, every knee must bow, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth (Philippians 2:10). We stand on the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We declare that every death spell, every curse, every work of black magic, and every assignment of the enemy against this family is broken right now by the power of the blood of Jesus. We cancel every word spoken against them, every hex, every spell, and every form of witchcraft in Jesus’ name. We command every evil spirit assigned to them to leave now and go where Jesus sends them—never to return. We plead the blood of Jesus over this mother and her children, covering them from head to toe, spirit, soul, and body. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask You to fill their home with Your presence. Let Your angels encamp around them, protecting them from all harm (Psalm 91:11). We break every generational curse and every soul tie that may have opened doors to the enemy. We declare that this family is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
Concerning the man mentioned, we pray that You would break every chain of black magic over his life. If he does not know You, we ask that You draw him to Yourself, that he may be saved and set free. If he is a believer, we pray that You would cleanse him from all unrighteousness and restore him to right relationship with You. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and we command every spirit of witchcraft, lust, or deception to leave him now in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You would bring godly, Christ-centered relationships into the lives of those involved. If marriage is Your will, we pray for a spouse who loves You above all else, a helpmate who will walk in purity and holiness. If this current relationship is not of You, we ask that You close the door and redirect hearts to Your perfect plan.
We thank You, Lord, for Your deliverance and protection. We thank You that the enemy has been defeated, and we walk in the victory that Christ has already won. Strengthen this family with Your might, fill them with Your peace, and let them walk in the freedom that is theirs in Christ. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). Read the Word of God daily, for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with and for you. Attend a Bible-believing church where the truth is preached, and the power of God is evident. Fast and pray, for some battles are not won without these spiritual disciplines.
Remember, the enemy is already defeated. You are not fighting *for* victory; you are fighting *from* victory. Walk in the authority that Christ has given you, and do not fear. The Lord is your refuge and your fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2).
