need of job

i got married two years before and its love marriage.my husband was very affectionate on me.we both came to this country very recently.i resigned my job in India and came with him.i d't have work permit visa in usa.Am sitting all alone in the home.my husband want me to get 12000$ as a dowry from my parents.i knew they can't afford that much money.As of now my parents could able to give 5000$.i don't know what am goin to do for the rest of the money.Also i can't understand what made him to drove crazy for money.sometimes it made me to think why am living with this money minded person.I love my husband very much and for that only reason am still with him.i hope god will make his mind to understand me & my family situation.i also believe this problem will be solved if i get a job over here.Am spending most of my time in prayer and reading bible and this brings me peace.Please pray for my job too.
