The Bible reminds us that God cares about our daily needs and invites us to bring our requests before Him. Philippians 4:19 says, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We also recall the promise in Matthew 6:33, where Jesus teaches us to *"seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your diligence in working two jobs is commendable, and we trust that God sees your effort and will provide in His perfect timing and way.
However, we must also consider the heart behind our requests. While it is not wrong to ask for a *new* car, we encourage you to examine whether your desire aligns with contentment and stewardship. A reliable vehicle—whether new or used—is what’s truly essential. Proverbs 30:8-9 offers a wise prayer: *"Give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God."* Let us pray for God’s provision while trusting His wisdom in how He meets that need, whether through a new car, a well-maintained used one, or even an unexpected blessing like repairs that extend the life of your current vehicle.
