We thank you for trusting us with your heart and for sharing so openly what you are carrying. We have read your requests and we are standing with you in prayer before the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and in whom alone salvation is found.
We pray for your studies and for your professional certification exam, that God would grant you clarity of mind, steady focus, and diligence as you prepare, and that your work would be done faithfully for His glory. We ask Him to give you peace as you study and to help you use your time well, remembering that learning and work are good gifts when ordered toward Him.
We pray also for your need for a job and for provision. We ask God to open doors that no man can shut, to provide employment with an employment visa and a sufficient salary so that you can live independently and provide for your needs and clear your exams without anxiety. We pray for His mercy regarding your present visa that is through your brother in law's company until next year, that there would be no trouble with it while you seek what you need, and that in His wisdom He would extend it as long as is right and according to His will, until He provides the next step. We trust His timing is perfect, even when the waiting feels long, and we pray He will sustain you through your savings and His provision day by day.
We pray for you concerning marriage, and we encourage you not to compromise under pressure. It is right that you desire a marriage that honors Christ, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, kept pure within marriage itself, and that you do not want to be joined quickly to someone simply because others urge you or because of your age. The Scripture teaches that marriage is honorable and pure, and that it preserves holiness when it is entered with chastity and honor and the fear of God. Do not seek money or outward splendor or family status as the first things, but seek piety of soul, gentleness, true understanding, and the fear of God in the one you would marry. It is better to wait for one of equal condition in faith, and even one of more modest means who loves Christ, than to be given to one who would make you a slave to unkindness or to habits that dishonor God, such as drinking and smoking. You are wise to refuse to marry any random person chosen by others when your heart seeks the one the Lord would set apart for you. As we have been taught, commit this matter into His hands first of all and beseech Christ to be present in it. Pray, whomsoever Thou wilt, do Thou provide, and trust Him to honor that prayer in His time. Do not let the accusations that you are arrogant or stubborn for waiting move you from this good purpose. People may find fault, but God sees the heart that wants to obey Him.
We pray for the heavy pressure you feel from relatives and from talk in your home country, for the false rumors and the painful words about you and your siblings, and for the strain with your sister and your brother in law. We ask God to grant you peace with all people as far as it depends on you, to soften hearts, to guard your sister from stress and anger, and to heal the relationship between you.
