We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We recognize that every good and perfect gift comes from above, and we trust in God’s perfect timing and plan for your life.
First, we lift up your professional certification exam and other courses. Father, we ask that You grant clarity of mind, unwavering focus, and the discipline needed to study and succeed. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 2:6-7, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity." Lord, we pray that You would open the eyes of understanding and fill this dear one with wisdom and knowledge as they prepare. Remove every distraction and anxiety, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind. May they walk in confidence, knowing that You are their strength and their shield.
For the new job and employment visa, we stand in faith with you, believing that God is opening doors that no man can shut. In Revelation 3:8, Jesus says, "I know your works (behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut), that you have a little power, and kept my word, and didn’t deny my name." Lord, we declare that every closed door is being opened, and every obstacle is being removed. We rebuke the spirit of delay and frustration in this situation. We pray that You would connect them with the right employer, one who values their skills and offers a fair salary and a stable visa. Father, we ask that You would silence the voices of doubt and criticism, and that You would cause favor to rest upon them in interviews and negotiations. Let this job not only provide financial stability but also be a place where they can grow and glorify You.
Regarding the desire for a godly spouse, we pray that God would prepare and bring forth the one He has set apart for you. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it is vital that this relationship honors God above all else. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, Your Word warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" Father, we pray that You would guard their heart from any relationship that does not align with Your will. We rebuke the pressure from others to compromise or settle for less than Your best. Instead, we ask that You would give them patience and discernment to wait for the spouse You have prepared. Let them not be swayed by worldly standards but trust in Your timing and Your choice. We also pray for purity in thought and action, that they would flee from any form of sexual immorality, as Your Word commands in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
For the visa situation, we declare that God is your provider and your protector. In Psalm 91:14-15, You promise, "Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him." Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this meeting regarding the visa. We rebuke any plans of the enemy to disrupt or delay this process. We pray that the proposal would be approved and that no weapon formed against them would prosper. Let Your peace reign in this situation, and let them walk in the assurance that You are fighting for them.
We also lift up the emotional baggage and past hurts that have weighed heavily on your heart. Father, we ask that You would heal every wound and restore joy to their soul. In Psalm 147:3, You promise, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Lord, we pray that You would replace sadness with Your peace, and bitterness with forgiveness. We rebuke every evil eye and every curse that has been spoken over them or their siblings. In the name of Jesus, we break every chain of generational bondage and declare freedom over their lives. Let them walk in the fullness of Your love and grace, knowing that You have not forgotten them.
We pray against every spirit of accusation and criticism that has labeled them as arrogant or stubborn. Father, we ask that You would silence the mouths of those who speak against them unjustly. In Isaiah 54:17, You declare, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh." Lord, let them walk in the confidence of who they are in Christ, not swayed by the opinions of others. Give them the courage to stand firm in their convictions and to trust in Your approval above all else.
We also pray for protection over their health, their job, and their relationships. In 3 John 1:2, we are reminded, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." Lord, we ask that You would guard their body, mind, and spirit from every attack of the enemy. Let no sickness or disease take root in their life. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no evil can touch them.
Finally, we pray for patience and trust in God’s timing. We know that waiting can be difficult, but Your Word assures us in Lamentations 3:25, "Yahweh is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him." Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their faith as they wait for Your promises to manifest. Let them not grow weary but continue to seek You with all their heart. Remind them daily that You are working all things together for their good, even when they cannot see it.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the testimony that is coming. We declare that this season of waiting is not in vain. We believe that You are preparing them for greater things, and we trust in Your perfect plan. Let them walk in the fullness of Your blessings, and may their life be a testimony of Your faithfulness to all who know them. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
