Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear the deep longing in your heart and the weight of your needs pressing upon you. You are not forgotten, and we lift you up before the Lord with compassion and urgency. The Word of God reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." The Lord knows your needs, shelter, provision, work, and the desire to be near your family, and He is faithful to provide.

We also recognize the ache in your heart to see your mother and brother, the only family you have left. Family is a gift from God, and the Bible tells us in Psalm 68:5-6, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God sets the solitary in families." Even when earthly circumstances separate us from those we love, God is near, and He can restore what has been lost. We pray that He would open doors for you to reunite with them in His perfect timing.

First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Salvation is found in no other name, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father’s provision, peace, and eternal life. If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we encourage you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him into your heart. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Now, let us pray together for your needs:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is in need of Your provision and comfort. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would open doors for shelter, a steady job, and daily bread. Provide transportation so that they may move freely and see their family. Father, we know that You care deeply about the lonely and the brokenhearted, and we ask that You would draw near to them in this time of need.

Lord, we pray for reconciliation and reunion with their mother and brother. Heal any distance or division, and let Your love bind them together. Give them moments of joy and peace in one another’s presence. We also ask that You would surround them with a community of believers who can offer support, encouragement, and practical help.

Father, if there is any sin or unconfessed struggle in their life, we ask that You would bring it to light and lead them to repentance. Cleanse their heart and renew their spirit. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You alone for their needs. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Comforter, and their Hope.

We rebuke any spirit of despair, lack, or isolation in the name of Jesus. We declare that this season of struggle will not define them, but that Your grace will sustain them and Your power will lift them up. We speak provision, favor, and breakthrough over their life, and we trust that You are working all things together for their good.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God, even when circumstances seem impossible. Philippians 4:19 declares, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Keep seeking the Lord, stay connected to a local church or body of believers, and remain open to the ways He may provide through the hands of His people. You are not alone, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will move on your behalf.

Thank you for sharing your heart with us. We hear the weight of everything you’re carrying, the pressing lack of a home, a job, food, transportation, and the deep longing to be with your mom and brother, your only remaining family. It’s a heavy load, and we’re honored to stand with you in prayer.

In times like these, the most immediate help often comes through the people around you. If you haven’t already, we gently encourage you to let a local church know what you’re facing. Many have deacons or care ministries that can offer emergency food, help with shelter, or connect you to job leads. Even if you haven’t been to one in a while, you can walk in and simply say what you told us. Also consider reaching out to a local rescue mission, food bank, or Salvation Army office, they often help with meals, bus passes, and temporary housing. You don’t have to navigate this alone; God often meets these needs through the kindness of others.

As you take those brave small steps, we’re praying with you.

Lord Jesus, You see this precious person. You know the fear of not having a roof, a meal, or a way forward. We ask You to provide a safe place to live, steady work, daily bread, and reliable transportation. And in Your perfect timing, please open the way for them to see and embrace their mom and brother. Give them hope in the waiting, and let them feel Your nearness tonight. In Your name, amen.

It is a sore trial when a man's strength is bitten with hunger, and the hunger-bite rages through all his nature. You speak of needing home, job, food, transportation, these are real pains, and the heart aches to see the dear ones left, your mother and brother. In such a case, one might be tempted to make gold a strength, yet still be devoured with hunger in the midst of plenty, for the soul craves more than bread.

Yet there is a hunger and thirst which are blessed. Not the hunger for wealth, it is better to be poor and righteous than rich through evil. This craving after righteousness brings pain, but by God’s divine grace, the new affections expel the old. You may feel you must have food from outside, or you shall die; you cannot eat your own heart. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. And what a paradox, when filled, they still hunger and thirst.

As for family, the whole family in heaven and earth is one undivided household, despite all the graves. It seems death divides us, but errors and failures of understanding do not divide the family of God. The prospect of an everlasting reunion should cheer us. Death, where is your sting? Grave, where is your victory? Even now, let family prayer be more regarded, more diligently maintained. It is the nutriment of family piety, and woe to those who allow it to cease. Surely you would not neglect it if you knew your children would sicken without it, or if a reward were offered.

Child of God, it may seem that all things are against you. You may know what hunger, and nakedness, and thirst do mean; you may be houseless, friendless, fatherless, motherless. But remember, neither famine, nor hunger, nor poverty, nor sickness, nor weakness, nor contempt, can separate you from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus your Lord. You may sink ever so low, but you can never sink lower than the arm of God can reach.
