We hear your cry for complete deliverance and victory in Jesus Christ and we join with you in agreement for God's power to be manifest over every work of the enemy in your life.
We rejoice that you have come in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and authority over the enemy. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. Your faith in His name is the foundation of victory.
Scripture assures us that the Son of God was revealed for this very purpose, that he might destroy the works of the devil 1 John 3:8. At the cross Jesus disarmed the powers and triumphed over them, and the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night Revelation 12:10. We know also that the Lord Himself rebukes the accuser, as it is written, Yahweh said to Satan, Yahweh rebuke you, Satan Zechariah 3:2, and Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us Romans 8:33-34. Because Christ intercedes for you, the accusations of Satan cannot stand.
We also understand your desire for Satan to be completely bound and unable to act forever. We want to encourage you with biblical truth about this. Jesus has indeed bound the strong man and given us authority to overcome, as He said Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you Luke 10:19. And we are commanded to Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. Yet the Word also teaches that Satan, though defeated, still prowls around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8 and he will not be finally and forever sealed away until God's appointed time when the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur Revelation 20:10. Until then our victory is daily as we walk in Christ and put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age Ephesians 6:11-12. God promises He will give us that daily victory and The God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet Romans 16:20.
So we do not pray as though the battle is still undecided, but from the place of Christ's already accomplished victory, asking for His protection and power to be made manifest in your life past, present and future, and for every direct or indirect influence of the enemy to be broken.
We pray together with you now.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that Jesus has destroyed the works of the devil and that through His blood we are justified and no accusation can stand against us. We ask in Jesus' name that You rebuke Satan and silence his mouth concerning our dear one, that You forbid him to accuse, to deceive, or to carry out any plan formed against them. We ask that You halt every scheme, whether direct, indirect, or through any connection or influence whatsoever, and remove its effect from their past, present and future. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their body and their household. Clothe them with Your full armor, gird them with truth, righteousness, the preparation of the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. Teach them to submit to You daily and to resist the devil so that he must flee. Guard them, for You are faithful, who will establish and guard them from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Let them walk in the confidence that nothing shall snatch them from Your hand John 10:28. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper and that Christ alone reigns over their life. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and for Your Holy Spirit to fill every place where the enemy has sought to work. We trust not in our own words but in the finished work of Jesus Christ, and we pray that You would keep them in perfect victory day by day until the day You cast the enemy away forever. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
