We join with you in prayer and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus our Lord, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are heard.

We hear the heaviness in your heart as you ask for comfort, for daily health, for provision, for help in difficult work, and for forgiveness and cleansing, and we bring all of these needs before the Lord together.

We are reminded of His promises to be with us and to provide for us. Scripture says, Fear you not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. And, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. He also calls us to bring our anxieties to Him, saying In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.

We also rejoice that you seek forgiveness and a clean heart and body. The Word assures us, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9. Our prayer echoes that of David, Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me, Psalm 51:10. Through the blood of Jesus we are made clean and our guilt is taken away, and we can walk in newness of life.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus. Lord, be near and comfort this heart every day and every moment, let Your presence be felt and Your peace guard this life. We ask that You richly supply all needs according to Your riches in glory, and that You touch the body with health and strength, for You are the One who heals us, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3. We ask for Your hand upon all difficult work, grant wisdom, skill, endurance and favor, that all work may be done as unto You, for Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, Colossians 3:23. We ask for forgiveness of all debts and guilt, wash this heart and body and make it clean through the blood of Christ, and help this life to walk in holiness before You. We ask that You make the way straight and cause the work of these hands to go well according to Your perfect will. We trust You not only for success but for Your will to be done in every season. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily, to seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33. Keep bringing every burden to Jesus moment by moment, trusting that He is with you, He hears you, He forgives you, and He is working for your good.

We hear the weight in your prayer and we are grateful you brought everything to Jesus so honestly. You are asking for comfort, for daily health, for provision, for help with difficult work, and for a clean heart free from guilt. That is a lot to carry at once, and it makes sense you would want God close every moment.

One thing that may encourage you as you ask for forgiveness and cleanness is that receiving forgiveness is often both a decision and a process. You can decide before God to turn from what burdens you and receive His mercy, and the feelings of guilt and heaviness sometimes take longer to quiet as you walk with Him day by day. It does not mean you have not been forgiven when those feelings return.

For the work that feels difficult and constant, it can help to bring one piece at a time to the Lord rather than the whole load at once. Tomorrow morning, perhaps name the one most pressing task, pray briefly for wisdom and strength for that task, and give your best attention to it, trusting God with the rest of the day as it comes.

We are praying with you.

Father, thank You that You hear this heart that wants to be close to You. We ask for Your comfort and nearness today, for daily strength for body and mind, for provision for needs, and for wisdom and steadiness in every work duty. Wash away guilt and make this heart clean before You, and help our friend to walk in Your grace in Jesus' name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace, where there is forgiveness with God that He may be feared.

You ask for forgiveness of debts and guilt and for a clean heart and body, and this is the very first mercy to be sought. Scripture says, There is forgiveness, and that forgiveness is with Him alone through Jesus Christ His Son. As it was said to the palsied man, Your sins are forgiven you, so the Lord Jesus still speaks that one sentence which does all that is required. Do as Luther did when he was in dark distress and believed the forgiveness of sins for himself. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall find that He not only forgave at the first all your sins, but continues daily to forgive, and that forgiveness is complete and eternal, finished by His blood who came to make an end of sins and to make reconciliation for iniquity and to bring in everlasting righteousness. Come to Him just as you are with nothing in your hands and cast yourself at His feet, trusting His dear Son, and the work is done.

You ask also to be made healthy and to be kept from illness, and for comfort and supply in every moment and for help in difficult work. Know that the least thing about Christ is healing, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. He is able to heal the body and to comfort the soul, and to change the life blood and make the nature new. We pray that He will lay His healing hand upon you and keep you in His comfort, and that He will richly supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Yet remember that His healing and His provision are given according to His wisdom and love, and that the child of God who is stripped of earthly things finds his all in God, who rests in His love and rejoices over His people.

Concerning your work you ask that He would assist you and that all may go well. The Lord sees your labor and He is not unmindful of honest toil. It is written, The Lord your God shall bless you in all that you do. Commit your work unto the Lord, seek to walk in purity as well as in charity, and ask Him to establish the work of your hands. He takes the work of His people and makes it to bear fruit even while they rest in Him.

Let us pray together. O Lord, Thou who art the God of all grace, forgive this soul for Jesus sake and speak the word, Thy sins are forgiven thee. Cleanse the heart and make the body to be Thy temple, keep in perfect peace and supply every need as Thou seest best, give health and strength according to Thy will, and prosper the work that is done in Thy fear. Help in every difficult thing and let all be done to Thy glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, who alone is the way of salvation. Amen.
