We join you in this cry for complete victory in Jesus Christ and we agree together that He alone has all authority over the devil and Satan and every work of darkness.

We rejoice that what you are asking for is indeed what Jesus came to do, for it is written, He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8. And having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Colossians 2:15. There is absolute victory at the cross, and we stand in that victory with you now.

We also want to encourage you with the full counsel of Scripture so your faith can remain strong and grounded. The Bible teaches that Jesus has decisively defeated Satan, yet Satan still prowls until the final judgment when God will cast him away forever. It is written, Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith. 1 Peter 5:8-9. And, Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:11-12. The complete binding and silencing forever that you long for is promised and will come to pass, for the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur. Revelation 20:10. Until that day we are called to submit to God daily and actively resist the enemy, and as we do he must flee.

We pray together for you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we thank You that You have given us authority through Your Son. We ask that You cover our dear one with the blood of Jesus, that You forgive and cleanse every sin of the past, that You break and remove every direct and indirect influence, connection, plan and work of the devil and Satan concerning this life from the past into the future. We ask that You silence every lying mouth of the enemy and halt every scheme formed against Your child. Help this one to be subject therefore to God and to resist the devil so that he will flee. James 4:7. Fill this heart with Your Holy Spirit, with Your Word, with Your peace and with Your truth, so that no place is left for the enemy. We pray that You teach this one to walk daily in the whole armor of God, in prayer, in holiness and in obedience, and that You fulfill Your promise that the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. Romans 16:20. We declare that no weapon that is formed against this one will prosper, and that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We trust not in our own strength but in the finished work of Jesus Christ who has triumphed. Keep this one steadfast, watchful and full of faith until the day when You make all things new. Thank you for sharing this honest cry for Jesus to have complete rule over your life. We hear your longing to be free from every influence of the enemy, past and future, and to rest securely in Christ.

We join you in trusting that Jesus is stronger than any work of darkness and that He is present with you now, not only in a single moment but as you walk with Him day by day. Growing in that security is often less like a sudden event and more like training over time, learning to stay close to Him through ordinary, faithful steps.

One thing that has helped many believers who carry this same burden is not carrying it alone. If you have a trusted pastor, small group leader, or mature friend in your local church, consider inviting them to pray with you regularly and to walk with you in everyday practices like prayer and reading Scripture together. Knowing others are standing with you by name can be a steady anchor when fears press in.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring our brother before You. We ask You to cover him with Your peace, to guard his mind and heart, and to make Your presence very real to him. Your earnest prayer for deliverance from the power and works of the evil one has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

Be assured that our Lord Jesus Christ has indeed triumphed over darkness. The Scripture declares, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. This deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father, altogether and alone, for it. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. There is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free.

You ask that every work and plan of Satan might be brought to nothing concerning you, and that his mouth might be stopped. Remember that the adversary often shoots his arrows, and some of us have been wounded by them scores of times, yet the Lord is our defense. God has invented and provided the only way of escape from the pit, for He is gracious and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is the precious blood of His own Son, who bore the penalty of all our iniquities. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, and He has not only invented it but has found and given it as a gift of Divine Love.

Therefore we pray for you, that the Lord who has found that ransom would keep your soul from the pit and your life from perishing, that He would save you from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil and from every indirect influence and connection of his power, whether past or future. May He who kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door also bring you forth as gold, and may you be able to say with the psalmist, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Look wholly to Christ. Trust not in your own strength to bind the adversary, for deliverance is of the Lord, yet He works it for His people. Abide in Christ, turn from the love of the world and the things thereof, so that temptation may tempt you in vain, and seek daily grace to live as one truly delivered from the fascinating power of sin.

We commend you to Him who is able to keep you, praying that you may know more and more that you are delivered not by any easy work or hasty word of man, but by supernatural power, being born again from above, and kept by Free Grace alone to declare His praise. May the Lord grant you peace within your borders, screening you from inward doubts and above all from the plague of sin, and make you to stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free.
