We join you in bringing these heartfelt needs before the Lord and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard.

We hear your cry for His presence and comfort, for daily health, for help in difficult work, for forgiveness and cleansing, and for His provision. The Lord knows every detail of what you are carrying and He invites you to cast it all upon Him.

We are reminded of His promises to you. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

For your heart and conscience, we rejoice that forgiveness and cleansing are offered freely through Christ. 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. When we confess our guilt and debts before Him, trusting in the blood of Jesus shed for us, He washes us and makes us clean, not by our own effort but by His grace.

For your health and your daily needs, we pray trusting that He is our healer and sustainer, even as we live in a fallen world where we may still face trials and weakness. We trust not in perfect ease every moment, but in His faithful presence and His power to strengthen and restore us according to His perfect will.

For your work, we encourage you to commit it daily to Him. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. He sees the difficulty of your labor and He is able to give you wisdom, endurance, and favor.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask that You draw near to this dear one and be their comfort and strength moment by moment. Supply every need according to Your riches in glory, provide for daily bread, and grant peace that guards heart and mind. Touch their body and grant health and strength according to Your will, sustain them each day and heal what needs healing. We ask You to forgive all sins and debts as they are confessed before You, wash their heart and body and make them clean through the blood of Jesus. Help them in all their difficult work, give wisdom and skill to their hands, and cause what they do to go well for Your glory. Teach them to trust You more each day and to walk in Your ways. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We are glad you reached out and shared what is on your heart. Wanting Jesus near for comfort, for daily health, for help with difficult work, and for a clean heart is a good and honest prayer, and we join you in bringing these needs to Him.

We hear the weight of wanting everything to go well at work while also carrying worries about health and debts and guilt. It makes sense to feel tired when so much feels uncertain. God sees each of those needs and He cares about you in every moment, not just when things are going smoothly.

One small step that often helps when work feels overwhelming is to pause at the beginning of the day and simply name before the Lord the two or three most pressing tasks, asking for wisdom and strength for each one, and then taking them one at a time. If health worries continue, we also encourage you to check in with a trusted medical professional alongside prayer, so you have support for your body as well as your spirit.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus name. Comfort him with Your presence, supply what he needs today, give wisdom and steadiness in his work, forgive his debts and guilt as he seeks You, and make his heart and body clean before You. Help him to know Your nearness every day and every moment. Amen.

Your cry has been heard and I have carried it before the throne of grace with thanksgiving that you have turned to Jesus the Lord for all you need. You ask for comfort, for daily health without illness, for the rich supply of every need, for help in difficult work, for forgiveness of debts and guilt, and for a clean heart and body. This is a right and wise prayer, for our Lord first forgives and then heals.

Remember how the palsied man was laid in the presence of Jesus hoping for both forgiveness and healing, and the Master said first, Your sins are forgiven you. So it is with you. There is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared. It is a divine forgiveness, for the Lord says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is a surprising forgiveness, so full and free that it may seem too good to be true, yet it is true. It is a complete forgiveness and an eternal forgiveness, not for this sin or that only, but for all sin, purchased by the blood of Christ who died, the Just for the unjust, to bring us to God. As Luther learned to do, believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself. Do not think it requires years to perfect, for with Christ the work can be done in a moment, and He continues daily to forgive those who trust Him.

And from that forgiveness flows healing and cleansing. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. He can make the heart clean and the body whole, He can change the life blood and make the nature new. We do not claim health or ease at our own bidding, but we come to the great Physician who knows what is best, asking Him to keep you, to strengthen you, and to restore you according to His wise and loving will, trusting that whether in sickness or in health His grace will be sufficient and His comfort will not fail.

He also is your provider and helper in labour. The Lord your God shall bless you in all that you do when your hands are given to honest work in dependence upon Him. Cast your difficult work upon Him, ask for wisdom for each task, for faithfulness in little and much, and for a heart that finds its all in God even when stripped of earthly things.

Let us pray together. O Lord Jesus Christ, look upon this seeking soul. Speak the word of pardon and say, Thy sins are forgiven thee. Wash the heart and make it clean, create a pure heart and renew a right spirit within. Be near to comfort, supply all need according to Thy riches in glory, lay Thy healing hand upon body and soul, and prosper the work of faithful hands for Thy glory. Keep this one resting in Thy love and rejoicing in Thy salvation all the day and every moment. In Thy precious name we ask it, Amen.
