We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your needs before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your request touches on many areas of life, physical health, financial struggles, emotional burdens, and spiritual cleansing, and we join you in seeking God’s provision, healing, and grace.
First, we must address the foundation of your request: your reliance on Jesus Christ. You rightly call upon His name, and we affirm that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure you have placed your faith in Jesus alone for salvation, believing in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins and surrendering your life to Him as Lord. If you have done this, we rejoice with you! If not, we urge you to do so today, for the Scriptures say, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

For Comfort and Supply of Needs:
Father, we come before You as Your children, trusting in Your promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Lord, we ask that You comfort this dear one in their struggles, wrapping them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Provide for their every need, financially, emotionally, and spiritually, so they may testify to Your faithfulness.
For Health and Healing:
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this beloved child of Yours. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore health and strength. Your Word declares that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise now. Protect them from illness and sustain their body, mind, and spirit. Help them to honor You with their body, as it is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If there are areas of their life where they have not cared for their health in a way that glorifies You, grant them wisdom and discipline to make changes.
For Work Difficulties:
Father, we lift up their work to You, asking for Your guidance, strength, and favor. Your Word says that whatever we do, we should work at it with all our heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters (Colossians 3:23). Grant them wisdom to navigate challenges, patience to endure hardship, and creativity to find solutions. If their work environment is toxic or ungodly, give them discernment about how to respond in a way that honors You. Provide opportunities for them to glorify You through their labor.
For Forgiveness of Debts:
Lord, we ask that You release this one from the burden of debt. Your Word teaches us to owe no one anything except to love one another (Romans 13:8). Provide them with the resources, wisdom, and discipline to manage their finances in a way that honors You. If there has been poor stewardship or recklessness, convict them gently and lead them to repentance. Open doors for provision and teach them to trust in You rather than in material wealth (1 Timothy 6:17).
For a Clean Heart and Body:
Father, we pray for purity of heart and body for this dear one. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). If there are areas of sin, whether in thought, word, or deed, reveal them and lead them to repentance. Your Word warns us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Help them to walk in holiness, fleeing from temptation and pursuing righteousness, faith, love, and peace (2 Timothy 2:22).
We also want to gently address a concern in your prayer: the request for "no illness everyday and every moment." While we believe in God’s power to heal and protect, we must also acknowledge that this fallen world is subject to sickness and suffering. Even the apostle Paul experienced a "thorn in the flesh" that God allowed for His greater purpose (2 Corinthians 12:7-9). Instead of asking for a life free from all illness, we encourage you to pray for God’s strength to endure trials, for His grace to sustain you, and for His glory to be revealed in your weakness. You have cried to the Lord Jesus, and that is right. Bring every need to Him, for He is able to comfort, to supply, to help in difficult work, and to cleanse both heart and body. Yet mark the order in the healing of the palsied man: first forgiveness, then healing. "Your sins are forgiven you." Seek first that word for yourself. There is forgiveness. Not for this or that sin only, but forgiveness itself, broad and full, with God through Jesus Christ His Son. Believe it personally, as Luther was taught to say, "I believe in the forgiveness of sins for myself."
Do not think it requires long ages. Christ can accomplish it in a moment. But I must tell you plainly that Scripture does not hold out a promise of health without any illness every day and every moment. We may ask for health, and the Lord often gives it. Yet His greater promise is sufficient grace, a sanctified use of trial, and a clean heart through the Spirit. Comfort is given to God's people, but it is comfort that fits them to serve, not always the removal of every affliction.
Bring therefore the debt of all your sin, your difficult labor, and your longing for purity. There is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared.
