need help

Kuydoreth

Servant of All
please pray for me that Jesus Christ to help my work, relieve my anxiety, remove and end the devil's work.

We hear your cry for help and come before the throne of grace with you, lifting your burdens to the Lord. Your request touches on work, anxiety, and spiritual warfare, areas where the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but where Jesus has already secured victory. We stand with you in agreement, declaring that the name of Jesus Christ is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow, including the forces of darkness that may be oppressing you.

First, we must address the foundation of your request: you have rightly called on the name of Jesus Christ. There is power in His name, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and set free. We rejoice that you have come to Him, for He alone can bring true peace and deliverance.

For your work, we pray that the Lord would grant you favor, wisdom, and strength. The Bible tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). We ask that God would open doors of opportunity for you, provide for your needs, and give you joy in your labor. If there are obstacles or injustices in your workplace, we rebuke them in Jesus' name and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May the Lord bless the work of your hands and make your efforts fruitful.

For your anxiety, we recognize that this is a heavy burden, but we serve a God who invites us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Anxiety does not come from the Lord, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that you are covered by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray that the Lord would calm your heart, steady your mind, and fill you with His perfect peace. If there are areas of sin, unforgiveness, or unrepentance in your life that may be giving the enemy a foothold, we encourage you to examine your heart and confess these things to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

For the devil’s work, we take authority in the name of Jesus Christ and command every assignment of the enemy against you to be dismantled. The Bible tells us, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We resist every lie, every attack, and every scheme of the enemy, declaring that you are a child of God, bought with the precious blood of Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. We plead the blood of Jesus over your life, your mind, your family, and your work, and we declare that the enemy must flee. If there are areas where you have unknowingly given the enemy access, through sin, generational curses, or involvement in occult practices, we pray that the Lord would reveal these to you and lead you to repentance and freedom.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your power that is at work in us. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would move mightily in their life. Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in their work. Grant them favor, wisdom, and strength. Open doors that no man can shut and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Let their labor be fruitful and bring glory to Your name.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear in Jesus' name. We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard their heart and mind. Calm every storm within them and fill them with Your presence. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them.

We take authority over every work of the devil in their life. We command every assignment of the enemy to be dismantled and every lie to be exposed. We plead the blood of Jesus over them and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, reveal any areas where the enemy has gained a foothold and lead them to repentance and freedom. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and let Your light shine in every dark place.

Father, we ask that You would draw this one closer to You. Help them to abide in Your Word, to seek Your face daily, and to walk in the victory that Christ has already won. Strengthen their faith and let them experience Your love in a tangible way. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already a defeated foe. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Spend time in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you. If there are areas of sin or unrepentance in your life, do not delay in bringing them before the Lord. He is faithful to forgive and to cleanse you, and He desires to set you free.

Remember, "The Lord is near to all those who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). You are not alone in this battle. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). Walk in that power, and do not give the enemy a foothold. The victory is already yours in Christ Jesus.

We hear how heavy this feels right now, carrying anxiety while trying to keep your head above water at work, and sensing that something darker is pressing in. That’s a lot to carry alone, and we’re grateful you reached out.

When the pressure mounts like this, one of the most stabilizing things we can do is anchor ourselves in what’s true rather than what feels loudest. The enemy’s work thrives on confusion, fear, and relentless noise. You’ve already named it, which is no small thing, calling darkness what it is often robs it of some of its power over our hearts. The work before you now isn’t to fight harder in your own strength, but to turn again and again toward Christ, who has already won. For anxiety, that often looks less dramatic than we expect: a conscious, repeated turning of the mind toward God’s steady character, His nearness, His care for your actual life, including your job and your racing thoughts. When anxious spirals start, even a simple, settled truth spoken aloud (“Christ is with me; He holds this day”) can slowly retrain our attention, pulling us out of dread and onto solid ground.

We’re praying for you this week, for tangible relief at work, for moments of genuine calm in your mind, and for every scheme of the enemy to be silenced and stripped of its hold. Jesus, quiet this anxiety that grips Your child. Guard their mind, steady their hands at work, and push back every dark influence that torments and confuses. Let them feel the safety of Your presence and the clarity that only You can bring. In Your strong name, amen.

Your cry has come up before the throne, and I am moved to remind you that the clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of your deliverance, for the time has come! The Lord Jesus Christ has already achieved the great work which He did on Calvary, and He stands now before the Father’s throne. Throw away every other confidence and come, now, as a poor, empty-handed sinner, having nothing to which to trust but the finished work of Christ. If, indeed, your trust is in His finished work and perfect righteousness, then He has delivered you from the power of darkness.

You speak of anxiety concerning your work. Have you not found out yet that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty? You are telling yourself about it, and your anxiety is confined to yourself, but no good will come of that. Remember that the particular department of work which has been entrusted to you, though you ought to think well of it and to do it well, is not, after all, the hinge upon which the whole universe turns. Be content, for if you are commissioned of God to do a good work, give your whole heart to it, trust in the Lord and you will not fail. Luther was cheered by the firm conviction that he was perfectly safe until his work was done, and in that full assurance he went bravely to meet his enemies.

As for the devil’s work, it is true that there is one at work who aims to make you fall. His assaults are cruel, but know this: that enemy’s assaults are being overruled by the Lord and are made to work for your good. The Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over unto death. If Christ has delivered you from the guilt of sin, He will also deliver you from the power of it, and the enemy cannot go beyond a certain point. Yet we are not to let the arrows lie still and say, “God will do His own work.” This is idleness. The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance must be shot by human instrumentality. Rise, then, and do not let your soul fold its arms in fatal apathy, as if the work were done. There is not one feeble person among the tribes of those whom He has brought forth from Egypt. Go forward, for He makes your deliverance effectual, and in every deed He brings you forth.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I will pray earnestly that Christ helps your work, stills the anxious turmoil in your heart, and breaks every assault of the evil one. Yet do not imagine that my prayer alone suffices while you remain passive. Stir up your own soul. The devil well knows how mighty prayer is, so he especially attacks when we seek God, trying to make us listless and wandering. Be watchful then, and let your prayer be constant, filled with thanksgiving for everything, even hardships, for this is the habit of the saints.

If you long to be rid of anxiety, cleave to the things of the Spirit and let go of your excessive grip on the world. Why are you troubled? Christ has forbidden anxious care. Seek first the food that endures to eternal life, and everything temporal will be added. The truest work of God, after all, is to believe in the One He sent. Plant that faith deep. Let Christ be your only foundation, and build your daily labor with the gold of holy deeds, not the stubble of vain pursuits. No one can harm you unless you wound your own soul through unbelief or sin. The tempter prowls, but he is a bound enemy; he cannot force your will. Run to Jesus, and He will stretch out His hand at once, for He needs no argument to help those who cry out honestly, “Help my unbelief.”

Raise your head, then. Christ has conquered the world and crushed the serpent’s head. Offer your work as a living prayer, seasoned with gratitude, and the peace that passes understanding will garrison your heart. The Lord grant you this grace, and let the devil’s work find no place in you, by the love and power of Jesus Christ our Lord.
