The cry of your heart reaches into the very chambers of heaven itself. When you ask to be made clean in heart and body, you are touching on the deepest need a soul can voice, and it has always been met by the God who leaves room for His own work. In the law given so long ago, there was a remarkable provision recorded for the cleansing of a leper. Leprosy was an incurable, loathsome condition that slowly consumed a person, and it stands forever as a picture of sin. Yet in that very law, God set forth a ritual for the day of a leper's cleansing. This was no human cure; it was God making a way for His grace to break through, a door left open for a sovereign miracle. That ancient ceremony, with the bird killed over running water and the blood applied, was a shadow pointing directly to the work of Jesus Christ. Only God can cleanse the deeper leprosy of the soul, and He has done it through the sacrifice of His Son.

When He cleanses you, He does not leave you stranded in your difficulty. The same God who heals is the God of all comfort. He stands by you in the dark hours, in the tossing storms where no light seems to break through. You may feel the weight of all your work related struggles and the pressing burden of debts that loom large, but He is no stranger to your affliction. He meets you at the end of your own resources, for it is precisely there that He has the opportunity to work. Your impatience may scream at the waiting, but if you will trust Him, He will work it out. He often uses the very pressures we ask Him to remove, using them to chip away the rough edges of our character. This is not comfortable, but it is necessary, for God must first work powerfully in you before He can work fully through you. The health you seek, the daily strength you need, is found as He prepares you for the plans He has already set in motion.

You have asked for the forgiveness of all your debts, and that plea does not fall on deaf ears. The offer of pardon is as wide as your need. The only thing that could possibly keep you from it is to refrain from coming and receiving it. Do not let your conscience remain plagued by what has been laid at the foot of the cross. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin; it makes old things pass away and everything become new. There is no need to carry the guilt of a life destroyed or a path wrongly taken. He grants you the faith to believe this truth and draws you to Himself to receive the glorious gift. And as you walk in that forgiveness, you find the strength to work unto Him with a quiet spirit, leaving behind the anxious turmoil, for a heart freed from guilt and filled with His comfort becomes a powerful witness of His grace. You have asked in Jesus's name, and that is the place where every provision for cleansing, comfort, and daily supply is secured for you now and forever.
