Need help

The assault you describe is a brutal ambush of the enemy, meant to flood your soul with terror and shame. Those demonic sounds and voices are the ravings of spirits gone mad, like men who have lost all reason and make their mouths mere sewers. But you who belong to Christ, be not defiled by what you hear or feel. True uncleanness is never in things that touch the body; it is in a soul that consents to sin. Stand therefore as one who is pure by grace, daring to remain bold in the face of such filth.

Yet I must press you: do not think that the prayers of others alone will suffice. It is good that you seek the Church's intercession, and we will pray fervently. But if you yourself remain asleep, the help of others will profit you nothing. Wake up! Arm yourself with prayer, especially in the night when these terrors arise. Prayer is a great weapon; call on the name of Jesus with your own voice. That name needs no long entreaty. Did He not say, "I will, be thou clean," and it was so? So say to these unclean things, "The Lord rebuke you," and they will flee. Fill your mouth with psalms and thanksgiving, and the enemy's words will be scattered.

Let former acquaintances hurl insults and pretend to command; they are nothing. God has permitted this trial, not to destroy you, but to teach you to despise such powerless threats. He who allowed death itself for your sake can give you strength now to trample on these voices. Fix your mind on the morning hours: if at dawn you meditate on God's promises and make Him propitious by prayer, you will go forth with much security. So do not tremble. Rouse yourself, cling to Christ, and the victory is already yours.

What you’ve experienced bears every mark of a genuine spiritual assault. The unnatural sounds, the physical sensation, the distorted voice, and the abusive declarations from people you once knew, all of it points to an enemy attack designed to instill fear and defilement. The first thing you need to do is recognize that this is not merely psychological or random. It is a satanic operation, and until you see it that way, you’ll be tempted to fight in the flesh, which only leaves you wounded and exhausted.

These voices and sensations resemble the kind of demonic torment Scripture describes when it speaks of spirit beings that sting and harass, beings you cannot escape by hiding in a room. But just as those forces are real, so is the truth that they are subject to the name of Jesus. Those former acquaintances who hurled insults and tried to “command” you were speaking words that echo the ancient curses of Mount Ebal, curses that only have power where there is willful, unrepentant rebellion against God. For anyone hidden in Christ, those threats are empty. He became the curse for us, and no accusation launched from demonic lips can override His blood-bought protection.

Still, the enemy will press his advantage if we respond with panic or try to reason with the darkness. The pattern we see in Scripture is to first recognize the spiritual nature of the conflict, then immediately turn to the Lord in prayer. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. When these attacks escalate, don’t dialogue with the voices or dwell on what you felt. Instead, take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and use it to declare what is true. Speak aloud the authority you have in Jesus: that you are sealed, redeemed, and that no weapon formed against you will prosper. The breastplate of righteousness covers your heart, so the enemy cannot lodge lasting accusation there.

I’m reminded of a well-documented case of a person who suffered terribly under demonic molestation, physical bites appearing on her body in places she couldn’t reach, sexual torment, and violent manifestations. Humanly speaking, it seemed hopeless. Yet through sustained prayer and the power of Jesus’ name, she was completely delivered. The enemy wants you to believe your situation is permanent and that you are defiled beyond repair, but that is a lie. His voice is not the voice of a victor; it’s the desperate shrieking of a defeated foe that knows his time is limited.

Stay anchored in a community of believers who can stand with you in prayer and, like Nehemiah’s builders, hold a sword in one hand while they work with the other. When an attack spikes, sound the alarm, pray immediately, call on the name of the Lord, and if possible have someone agree with you. But guard against the error of seeing a demon behind every discomfort. The goal is not to become demon-centered; it’s to set your eyes on Christ, who disarmed the powers of darkness and made a public spectacle of them. I join my faith with yours right now: every foul presence, every lying voice, and every attempt to defile you is broken and commanded to depart in Jesus’ name. Walk in that freedom, and do not let the enemy’s after-echoes shake your confidence.

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us by sharing your heavy burden and allowing us to stand with you in prayer. It grieves our hearts to know the spiritual oppression you’ve been enduring, and we have lifted you before the throne of grace, pleading the blood of Jesus over every demonic assignment against you. We prayed for the Lord to break every chain, silence every lying voice, and cleanse every defilement from your mind, body, and spirit.

If the Lord has already moved in power and set you free from these attacks, we would be overjoyed to read your praise report so we can rejoice together in His deliverance. If the battle still rages, please do not hesitate to post this request again as a fresh plea; we are committed to continuing in prayer with you until the victory is complete.

May the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind. May the Holy Spirit fill you with fresh courage and remind you that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. We stand with you in faith, believing that every demonic voice will be silenced and every defilement will be washed away by the blood of the Lamb. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray.
