Servant of All
Jesus Christ completely puts an end to all the works of the devil and Satan, silences the mouths of the devil and Satan, and completely halts all the plans of the devil and Satan for all whole the time. and Jesus Christ completely puts a stop to all actions of the Devil and Satan whether direct, indirect, or involving any connection or influence whatsoever, in Jesus’s name, amen.

We stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word, declaring with boldness that Jesus Christ has indeed triumphed over the devil and all his works. The Scriptures declare, "The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8 WEB). By His death and resurrection, Jesus disarmed the powers of darkness, making a public spectacle of them and triumphing over them (Colossians 2:15). We rejoice in this victory, for it is complete and eternal!

However, we must also recognize that while Satan’s defeat is certain, he still roams like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). His influence persists in the world, and his schemes are real. But we do not fight this battle alone, we fight in the name of Jesus, who has already secured the victory. We must stand firm in faith, putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), resisting the devil so that he will flee from us (James 4:7).

We pray now with authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that every work of the enemy is brought to nothing. We silence every lying tongue, every deceiving spirit, and every plan of darkness that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy (John 10:10). We break every chain of oppression, every stronghold of fear, and every scheme of the devil that targets Your children. By the blood of Jesus, we cancel every assignment of the enemy against our lives, our families, our churches, and our nations.

Lord, we ask that You fill us with Your Holy Spirit, empowering us to walk in victory. Help us to recognize the enemy’s tactics and to stand firm in Your truth. Let Your light expose every hidden work of darkness, and let Your peace guard our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Father, we also ask for wisdom and discernment to walk in a manner worthy of Your calling. Help us to live holy lives, set apart for Your purposes, so that the enemy finds no foothold in us. Let our lives be a testimony to Your power and grace, drawing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

We thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already ours in Christ. We walk in that victory today, confident that You who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weight behind your words, and we are standing with you in what you’ve declared. It is a right and good thing to cry out for Jesus to silence the enemy and put an end to every scheme of the devil. We genuinely believe that Christ is victorious over all darkness, and we join our faith with yours in that.

At the same time, we’ve learned that the enemy is just as happy when we become fixated on his works as when we ignore him entirely. C.S. Lewis once wrote, “There are two equal and opposite errors into which our race can fall about devils. One is to disbelieve in their existence. The other is to believe, and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them. They themselves are equally pleased with both errors.” So while we never minimize the reality of spiritual battle, we want to gently encourage you: after you have prayed and declared Christ’s authority, it helps to intentionally let your mind rest in Jesus himself, not in the works you’ve renounced. Fill the space with worship, simple thanksgiving, or even just sitting quietly in his presence, as a way of locking your focus on the One who has already won.

You do not have to keep re-fighting what Christ has already handled. We pray you’ll sense his peace settling your heart right now.

Lord Jesus, we join this child of yours in asking you to silence every voice of the enemy and halt every plan of darkness. Cover them with your protection and fill their mind with your truth rather than fear. Let them rest in your finished work, knowing that the devil is a defeated foe. Give them the gift of a quiet and trusting heart today. In your mighty name, amen.

This is a great and glorious truth you have laid hold of, that Christ was manifested for this very purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. Let your soul take firm hold upon it. The Son of God has indeed come into the world to unshackle captives and to tear down every foul thing that Satan has built. When we plead the name of Jesus and stand upon the finished work of Calvary, we stand where the enemy’s writ cannot run and his loudest boast falls silent. He is a vanquished foe.

Yet be watchful that you do not mistake the full and final overthrow for a present deliverance from every skirmish. The devil’s power over death is utterly destroyed for the Christian, death is but the last enemy that shall be destroyed, but until we reach the Celestial City, he still spreads snares and shoots his fiery darts. The King has won the war, but He leaves us upon the battlefield so we might prove our faith in the skirmishes. The old serpent may no longer crush us, but he will still hiss.

And we must remember that chastening often comes not from the hand of the enemy but from the hand of a loving Father. The Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. That which we sometimes quickly label the work of the devil may be the sharp smart of divine pruning, meant to bring us nearer to our Lord. Troubles do not spring out of the dust; affliction does not grow from the ground like hemlock. He chastens us sorely, but He does not give us over to death.

Therefore, rest your confidence where God has placed it: in Christ your Head. Even now, the soles of your feet are victorious because your Head is crowned. When He overcame the world, every member of His mystical body was a conqueror in that conquering Head. The Holy Spirit dwells in you with that same quiet power by which Jesus overcame. If your prayer is rising from a true work of grace within, grasping with living tendrils the promise of the living God, then be assured: He who has begun this work in you will not fail nor be discouraged till every work of Satan within you is destroyed. Live, then, and declare the works of the Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Christ indeed came to destroy the works of the devil, and He has done so decisively and completely in His own time and manner. The demons recognized His authority, and His cross broke their power, making a public spectacle of them. By His death and resurrection, Christ has overthrown the ancient tyrant, and the final silence of Satan is assured. But while we are in this world, the enemy still prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Observe how he dares not attack the flock when it stands together in unity. It is when he finds a soul alone, cut off from the body of believers, that he ventures his assaults. This is why the Spirit drove our Lord into the wilderness, not to hand Him over to the tempter, but to show us that the enemy is most confident in desolate places. Therefore, do not imagine that your prayer for the total halt of Satan’s works is vain; it is grounded in the sure promise of God. Yet, until the Lord returns, you must cling to the assembly of the faithful. There, surrounded by the choir of saints and under the shepherding of Christ, you will find safety. For the devil flees where he sees many burning with love and bound together in concord. His mouth is stopped not only by the word of God but by the witness of a holy life united to the Church, where the power of the Spirit utters things greater than human wisdom.

The Lord’s own works prove that He alone can silence every lying tongue and break every diabolical scheme. When they called Him demon-possessed, He answered by opening the eyes of the blind. Where today the gospel is preached, the devil’s sorceries are made useless, his strongholds are demolished, and his captives are set free. You have prayed for a complete stop to all his actions, whether direct or indirect. Be assured: Christ will deliver you from every evil work, even from the mouth of the lion. But this deliverance does not mean you will never face temptation or conflict. Rather, He strengthens you to endure, so that by standing firm you share in His victory. The devil cannot touch the essence of your soul or body, which are God’s creation; he can only allure your will. Stand fast, then, with your will fixed on Christ, and you will see the works of the evil one undone in your own life as you resist unto blood, striving against sin. Liberty from this bondage is already yours if you abide in the truth, and that truth makes you free from every fear. Continue in prayer, gather often with the saints, and let the works of love and thanksgiving be your reply to the accusing enemy. Then, even if the adversary rages, you will find that the Lord who stood by Paul is with you, delivering you from every evil attack and bringing you safely into His heavenly kingdom.
