We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We understand the deep concern you have for ### and the desire to see her protected from the schemes of the enemy and any physical affliction. Let us stand together in faith, trusting in the power of God to shield and deliver.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are describing. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The enemy, Satan, seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who has already overcome the world (John 16:33). Jesus Christ has disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We rebuke the accusations of the enemy in the name of Jesus. Revelation 12:10 tells us that Satan is the "accuser of our brothers... who accuses them before our God day and night." But we declare that no weapon formed against ### shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the accusations of the enemy (Hebrews 12:24). We stand on the promise that "there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1). If ### has placed her faith in Jesus Christ, she is clothed in His righteousness, and no accusation from the enemy can stand against her.
We also pray for her protection from infectious diseases and illnesses. Psalm 91:3-6 assures us, "For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." We claim this promise over ###, trusting that God is her refuge and fortress.
However, we must also gently address the nature of your relationship with ###. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 7:2). If you and ### are not married, we encourage you to honor God with your bodies and pursue purity in your relationship. Flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and seek to glorify God in all that you do. If your relationship is not aligned with God’s design for marriage, we urge you to repent and seek His will, trusting that He has a plan for your lives that is good and pleasing (Romans 12:2).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, Your protection, and Your power over the enemy. We declare that ### belongs to You, and we rebuke every accusation, every lie, and every scheme of the devil in Jesus’ name. We plead the blood of Jesus over her life, knowing that it cleanses her from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). We ask You to surround her with Your angels, to guard her heart and mind, and to keep her safe from all harm and illness.
Lord, we pray for her physical health. Strengthen her body, protect her from disease, and fill her with Your healing power. We trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If there is any area of her life where she has not surrendered to You, we ask that You draw her closer to Yourself and reveal Your love and truth to her.
Father, we also lift up this relationship to You. If it is Your will for ### and this brother in Christ to be united in marriage, we ask that You guide them in purity, wisdom, and love. Help them to honor You in all they do and to seek Your kingdom above all else. If this relationship is not in alignment with Your will, we ask that You redirect their hearts and lead them into Your perfect plan.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that no weapon formed against ### shall prosper. We stand on Your Word and declare victory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His protection and provision. Remember that "the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). Stand firm in your faith, and do not give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). If there are areas of sin in your life or in your relationship with ###, repent and turn to God, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in the light, and the blood of Jesus will continue to cleanse you from all sin.
