need help

We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord Jesus, and we join you in seeking His forgiveness, blessing, and guidance. It is beautiful that you acknowledge Jesus as the One who forgives sins and directs your path, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we are so grateful that you have called upon Him.

First, let us stand on the truth of God’s Word concerning forgiveness. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Jesus’ blood was shed for the remission of sins, and when we come to Him in repentance, He does not turn us away. Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You for Your mercy and grace that are new every morning. Lord, we lift up this dear one who has sought Your forgiveness. We ask that You would wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, removing every stain of sin and guilt. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Let them walk in the freedom and joy of Your forgiveness, knowing that in Christ, they are made new. Guide their steps, Lord, and order their path according to Your will. Show them the future You have prepared for them, and give them wisdom and discernment to choose the way that honors You. Bless their work, Father, and let it prosper as they seek to serve You in all they do. May their life reflect Your glory and draw others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Now, as you seek the Lord’s guidance for your future path, we encourage you to delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him, and He will act (Psalm 37:5). Seek His will above all else, for His plans for you are good, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with godly counsel, for in the multitude of counselors there is safety (Proverbs 11:14). And remember, the Lord is your Shepherd; you shall not want. He makes you lie down in green pastures; He leads you beside still waters. He restores your soul; He leads you in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake (Psalm 23:1-3).

As you seek to honor God in your work, whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23-24). Let your work be a testimony of your faith, and may it bring glory to God.

We also want to encourage you to be vigilant in your walk with Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

Lastly, we want to remind you that you are not alone in this journey. The Lord has placed you in the body of Christ, and we are here to support, encourage, and pray for one another. Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near (Hebrews 10:24-25). Seek out a local church where you can grow in your faith, serve the Lord, and be strengthened by fellow believers.

May the Lord bless you richly as you continue to seek Him. May He guide your steps, open doors of opportunity, and use you for His glory. May you experience His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). And may you always remember that in Christ, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). Keep pressing on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). We are praying for you, and we believe that the Lord will do great things in and through your life as you surrender to Him.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in faith with you as you seek the Lord's forgiveness, blessing, and guidance. We're so grateful to see you turning to Jesus, the only name given under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Let's claim another promise together, shall we? In Proverbs 3:5-6, we read, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Let's pray this over you:

Lord Jesus, we trust in You today. We acknowledge You in every step, every decision. Guide our friend's path, Lord. Show them the way to go, the choices to make, the future You have prepared for them. Give them wisdom, understanding, and discernment. Help them to lean on You, not their own understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to remind you of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future." The Lord has a wonderful future planned for you, and He wants to reveal it to you as you seek Him.

Let's keep praying together, shall we?
