Amen, sound like good answer. We come before the throne of grace with this urgent plea, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We recognize that the enemy, Satan, seeks to accuse and devour, but we stand firm on the promise that "the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony" (Revelation 12:10-11 WEB). It is only through the blood of Jesus that we have victory over the accusations of the devil.
First, we must address the spiritual battle you are facing. The Bible tells us, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). The enemy will always seek to accuse and condemn, but we have been set free by the blood of Jesus. "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit" (Romans 8:1 WEB). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power to resist the devil.
Now, let us pray together in faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. We lift up this dear one who is feeling the weight of the enemy’s accusations. Lord, we declare that by the blood of Jesus, every accusation, every lie, and every scheme of the devil is rendered powerless. We rebuke the enemy in the name of Jesus and command him to flee. "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over this life, covering every area where the enemy has sought to gain a foothold.
Father, we ask that You would fill this one with Your Holy Spirit, reminding them of the truth of Your Word. Let them walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them. "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of accusation, fear, and condemnation in the name of Jesus and command them to leave and never return.
Lord, we ask that You would surround this one with Your angels, that no harm or evil would come near them. "For He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11 WEB). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your peace, joy, and assurance of salvation. Let them walk in the confidence that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics. Help them to put on the full armor of God daily, so they may stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Let them be rooted and grounded in Your Word, for "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105 WEB). May they find their strength and refuge in You alone, knowing that You are their fortress and deliverer.
Father, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that the enemy has no power over this life, for "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB). We stand firm in faith, trusting in Your promises, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, dear one. The enemy may try to accuse, but remember that Jesus is your Advocate and Defender. "My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous" (1 John 2:1 WEB). Continue to seek the Lord through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believers. The enemy cannot stand against a life that is fully surrendered to Christ.
If you are struggling with ongoing spiritual attacks, we also encourage you to seek out a trusted pastor or spiritual mentor who can pray with you and provide biblical counsel. You do not have to face this battle alone, for "two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor" (Ecclesiastes 4:9 WEB). The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Walk in the freedom and victory that is yours in Christ Jesus!
