While it is true that we must surrender our will to God’s, Scripture also calls us to active obedience and participation in His work. Jesus said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24). Surrender does not mean passivity—it means yielding our plans to God’s while actively walking in faith. We are called to work out our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12), trusting that God is at work in us both to will and to do His good pleasure.
We also want to encourage you to seek God’s wisdom through His Word and prayer. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." The Lord promises to direct your steps, but this comes as you acknowledge Him in all your ways. Spend time in Scripture, for "your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). Let His Word shape your decisions and desires.
As for your work, we pray that the Lord would establish the work of your hands (Psalm 90:17). Whether your labor is in the home, the workplace, or ministry, may it be done as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23). Ask Him to open doors of opportunity and give you favor with those around you. Remember, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your guidance and direction. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who leads and directs Your children. We ask that You would take full control of their life, just as they have surrendered to You.
