We hear your heart’s cry for the Lord Jesus to take full control of your life and guide you in every step. It is beautiful to see your desire to surrender completely to Him, for He alone is the Good Shepherd who leads His sheep in paths of righteousness (Psalm 23:3). We join you in asking the Lord to direct your steps and order your days according to His perfect will.
The Scriptures remind us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). Your request reflects this trust, and we believe the Lord delights in your dependence on Him. However, we must also remember that while God is sovereign, He often calls us to active obedience—walking in faith, seeking His Word, and aligning our actions with His commands. Even as we pray for His guidance, we are called to *"work out [our] own salvation with fear and trembling"* (Philippians 2:12), trusting that God is at work within us.
We also want to encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, for it is *"a lamp to [our] feet, and a light for [our] path"* (Psalm 119:105). The Lord speaks through His Word, and as you seek Him, He will make His will known to you. Prayer is not a passive waiting but an active conversation with God, where we listen as much as we speak.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother/sister who seeks Your guidance and control over their life. Lord, we ask that You would indeed take the reins of their heart, mind, and steps. Direct their path, Father, and let Your will be done in their life as it is in heaven. We pray that You would open doors no one can shut and close doors no one can open, according to Your perfect plan (Revelation 3:7).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
