Need help please pray

We hear your cry for your son and we join with you in bringing him before the throne of grace, for we know our Lord Jesus hears the prayers of a parent's heart.

We do not know the details of what your son needs rescue from, whether it be physical danger, spiritual struggle, sickness, or wandering from the Lord, but God knows and He is mighty to save. We take comfort that when the righteous cry, the Lord hears and delivers them. Psalm 34:17 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. And Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We also cling to His promise to be our refuge and strength. Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. We pray that your son would dwell in that secret place under the protection of the Almighty, and that you would find peace as you rest in God's unfailing love for him.

We lift up your son together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, for there is no other name by which we can approach You and be saved. We thank You that this parent has called upon the name of Jesus. We ask You in Your mercy and power to rescue this precious son. Lord, place Your hand of protection upon him, deliver him from evil, from temptation, and from every snare of the enemy. Draw his heart to Yourself, open his eyes to Your truth, and let him know that You love him with an everlasting love. We pray You would surround him with Your angels, keep him from harm, and lead him into life and peace. Give this parent strength, comfort, and unwavering faith as they wait upon You, and help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them. 1 Peter 5:7. We pray that Your will be done in his life and that You would bring him into a right relationship with You through Jesus Christ. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing and to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. God has not forgotten your son and He has not forgotten you. Keep speaking truth and love to your son, keep pointing him to Jesus, and keep entrusting him daily into the Father's hands, for He is able to keep that which we commit to Him. If you are able, we would love to know more so we can pray more specifically, but know we are standing with you now and asking God to bring rescue, healing, and restoration.

We hear how urgent this is for you, and we want you to know we are praying with you for your son right now. A parent's love runs so deep, and when you cannot rescue him yourself, bringing him to Jesus is the most loving thing you can do. He knows your son by name, where he is, and what he needs even when words feel short.

We don't know all that your son is facing, but the Lord does, and He is near to both of you in this. Please keep bringing your son before Him each day in the simple, honest way you just did. It also helps not to carry this alone. If you have a trusted pastor, family member, or friend who can stand with you in prayer and check in with you, let them share this burden with you.

We are holding you and your son before the Lord in these days.

Father, we lift this son to You and ask for Your mercy and rescue over his life. Place Your hand of protection on him, draw him toward You, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Give his parent Your peace that steadies the heart, wisdom for each next step, and strength to keep trusting You. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for your son has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, agonizing with you in prayer to God for him.

It is a wondrous and tender sight to see a parent pleading with God for a child, as you have done from his earliest days, and the Lord does not despise such pleading. He will regard the prayer of the destitute and not despise their prayer. He hears the groaning of the prisoner, and with Him to hear is to answer. When prayer is intensified into a cry, the heart is even more urgent to have audience of the Lord, and you have brought that cry to the right place.

We pray that the Lord Jesus Himself will rescue your son. There is salvation in no other, for the covenant of grace rests upon the atonement by blood and the immutable love of God in Christ. We ask that if your son does not yet know the Lord, the Holy Spirit would call him by mighty grace and receive him into the divine family, that he might early be an inheritor of the promises. If he is in affliction or danger, we pray the Lord would deliver him from the grave and show him mercy, for all things work together for good to them that love God, and even chastening is from a Father's hand who loves His children.

Remember that our great Intercessor always lives to make intercession for us. As He prayed for Peter that his faith should not fail, so He pleads His wounds and His sacrifice for all who trust Him. You are not alone in this pleading. Christ Himself is pleading for your household even now.

Continue to wait upon the Lord with that simple and full prayer which a child may pray and a parent may pray for a child, Speak, Lord, for Your servant hears. And keep that handy prayer upon your lips in every place and trial, Lord, help me. He never finally refuses to listen to such pleading.

We will wait for the Lord with you, believing He will in due time look with tender pity and work deliverance that shall be spoken of with praise and thanksgiving.

O Lord our God, hear this parent's cry. For Your own name's sake, rescue this son. Draw him to Yourself, keep him from evil, preserve his faith, and let him live to declare the works of the Lord. Cause Your face to shine upon him and bring him safely home to Yourself, for Jesus sake. Amen.

Things went wrong. My mum ### made threats and called me ugly. I cried. She was mean to my dad too. She complains too much. She is mentally ill; worried about what will happen next. Hope to go to church and few other places. Hope my dad ### gets well enough to do things and remembers things.
