Beloved Warrior
My husband had a stroke on March 4th of this year. He is still in recovery.
It has been the hardest thing we have ever had to deal with. His right arm and leg were paralized at the time of the stroke. Over a period of weeks, his arm and part of his leg regained mobility. His right leg from the knee down to the toes remains heavy. He does OK in the mornings and early afternoon but by evening he is a wreck. His leg feels like it weights a ton. He gets very tired and edgy. I have prayed and prayed. I know Bob has shown great improvement over the last 5 months but it doesn't seem to be enough to suit him. He isn't a believer so it is very hard. He calls me "church girl" and says he won't believe unless he sees a sign that he is going to walk again. He wants his toes to wiggle. Right now they won't move.
I am asking you to stand with me to change his attitude. I know that God will heal him in HIS time not ours. I am so upset right now I can't even think of the words to come to the foot of the cross with. I would like to ask for prayer for both myself and Bob. He's a good man but this stroke has just thrown him for a loop.
