Need Help Being Still And Not Being Compulsive In Prayer

when i try praying i have been having compulsive tendencies to really feel and have weird thoughts it is saying my prayers are compulsive and there fore not helpful i would really like to say a honest still and calm prayer thank you for all your awesome help
