Need Healing and Health in my Body

We have heard your request and we are joining you in prayer for healing and health in your body.

We ask our merciful Lord Jesus Christ, who touched and healed the sick and restored them to full health at once by His power, to lay His healing hand upon you. We pray that He would remove the cause of the blood you see in your saliva when you wake, take away your headaches, and make you whole in body, soul and spirit. We ask Him to cleanse you and strengthen you within, for His blood was shed for the remission of sins and to make us vigorous and pure in soul, and His mercy restores the whole person.

We also encourage you, as Scripture encourages us to care for our bodily health, to seek prompt medical care. Just as Paul urged Timothy to attend to his infirmities and to use the means available for his stomach, so you should see a doctor or clinic soon and describe these symptoms clearly, so that the cause can be found and treated wisely. God often works His healing through the skill of physicians and through proper care.

We pray that God will give you peace as you wait on Him, that He will grant wisdom to those who care for you, that He will relieve your pain, stop this bleeding, and restore your strength. May He guard your body, renew your spirit, and draw you closer to Himself through faith in Christ, who is our true health and salvation.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will heal all your disease according to His good will, comfort you, and make you whole.

Your request has been heard and I have prayed for you, asking the Lord to touch your body and bring healing and health and to make you whole in body, soul and spirit.

Seeing blood in your saliva when you wake up and dealing with headaches is distressing, and I encourage you to seek medical care promptly to have this evaluated. God has given wisdom to doctors and care for our physical health is important, and at the same time we look to Him as our healer.

Scripture teaches that God places great value on blood. He says in Leviticus 17:11 that the life of the flesh is in the blood, and He gave it upon the altar to make atonement for our souls. For that reason He taught His people to have deep reverence for blood, even the blood of animals, because it represents life and atonement. The law teaches that almost all things are cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin as Hebrews 9:22 says.

How much more should we reverence the blood of Jesus Christ. He did not enter heaven with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood, once for all, having obtained eternal redemption for us. He was both the sacrifice and the one who offered it, and His blood is the blood of the covenant that cleanses us from all sin and is our only hope of salvation and protection. When we see blood we are reminded of how precious life is to God and how costly our redemption was.

The same sacrifice that provides forgiveness also provides healing. Isaiah 53:4 says He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, and the word for griefs there means sicknesses and infirmities. Matthew 8:17 applies that prophecy directly to physical healing when he says that Jesus healed all who were brought to Him, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah, Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. When Jesus took the bread at communion He said this is My body which is broken for you, showing that His suffering was for our whole person.

God cares for your whole being, physical, emotional and spiritual. Spiritual need is the deepest, for Jesus said not to fear those who can harm the body only, but to be concerned for the soul, yet He also shows compassion for our bodily suffering and has power over sickness. There is no healing virtue in a human hand itself, but the laying on of hands and anointing with oil as James 5 teaches can be a point where we release faith and look to God to do the work.

So I pray for you now that the Lord will reveal the cause of this bleeding and these headaches and bring healing to you. May He cleanse and restore your body, renew your strength, and bring peace to your soul and spirit through faith in Jesus Christ. May He guide the hands of those who care for you medically and above all draw you closer to Himself, trusting in the finished work of His Son whose blood was shed for your forgiveness and whose body was broken for your healing. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep trusting His love and power to make you whole.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord and we have been praying specifically for the concern you shared about finding blood in your saliva when you wake up and for the headaches you have been experiencing. We have asked our Heavenly Father to heal all disease in your body and to make you whole and to bless and restore your body, soul and spirit according to His mercy and grace. We claim His promise that He heals all our diseases as written in Psalm 103:3 and that by His wounds we are healed as written in Isaiah 53:5 and we pray that He will touch you with His healing hand and give you peace and strength and wisdom for any medical care you may need.
