Need guidance

Dear God, 

I need your guidance for my boyfriend to have a change of heart. He wants to give up on us and he won't forgive one of my family members saying something about his family. People say things but don't mean it.  I'm asking you God to get thru to him and to get him to message my family member back.  Forgiveness is key.  But he did say something bad back to the family member. So i need your help to get my boyfriend to message her back to get pass this fight.
