"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest," Jesus says in Matthew 11:28. We claim this promise over you and those you are praying for, trusting that God will grant peaceful, restoring sleep and renew strength for the days ahead.
We stand with you in declaring that no weapon formed against you or those you love shall prosper, for Isaiah 54:17 assures us that this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. Yet we must also address the spiritual battle you’ve described, particularly the grip of worldly desires and sin that has taken hold. The Word of God is clear: sexual immorality, including fornication and any sexual activity outside the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, is contrary to God’s design. First Corinthians 6:18-20 warns, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
