Need God to go before me

I will soon have the talk with my parents about my new boyfriend. Please pray that God would help them look past their own opinions and see my new boyfriend the way I see him and God sees him - a great man after God's heart.

Nobody is perfect. I know that full well, but my parents sometimes still think it's possible. Pray that God would fill them with compassion and understanding about our relationship. Pray that they would be supportive instead of judgmental like they typically are. We both need God's guidance on what to say and what not to say. Pray that God could fill our hearts with His peace. May no one feel slimed on or hurt after this conversation.

I really need God to go before me to fight this battle and melt their hardened hearts. I really would appreciate your prayers!

Have you ever thought about the teaching of taking no thought for your life? It's amazing to take no thought for your life and wait on the Lord to put something on your heart to do. I have had physical and emotional pains vanish singing in myself humming take no thought for my life, I give it all to you Lord. Please listen to their concerns, see if there's any truth there, or if they are in fear or overly controlling.

Honor them but there comes a time to lead your own life, whether they agree or not.

But do HEAR what they say. SometInes there is insight in older people, even if they are rough or judgmental.

Be sure of the man for at LEAST 2 years b4 marrying. Few can hide their junk for 2 years. Then, live love.
