I have been struggling with my finances for years. Struggling with debt for years, struggling with keeping a job for years. I am and have been praying for stability for a while now. I am a mom of 4 young adults, and 2 of them live with me. They have seen my struggles and while I am trying to maintain my household, be a good role model, raise my children, teach them the ways to prepare them for when they leave out on their own. Yet they see that my life has been nothing but ups and downs. I bought my house new 5 years ago, then a few months after moving into my house I lost my job and have been struggling since then …. I would find work then lose my job. I have not been consistent with paying my mortgage in years … I have had to reach out to agencies for hardships and now I’ve exhausted these options. I lost my job in January of this year with a hospital then after 4 months of looking for work I was offered 2 jobs with a hospital and a clinic, I turned down the hospital to work at the clinics since it paid more and I need the funds to get caught back up with past due bills … the new job fired me in August for making too many mistakes. I tried reapplying at the hospital and they immediately said no to all jobs I applied for. I was approved for unemployment for I am down to my last 2 payments, next week is my last payment coming to me. It is only $###. I pay almost $### in bills including my mortgage that I have been late on. I spend hours, from the morning into the evening, applying for job after job, I have had a few interviews. All for them to decline me. I even find myself getting up in the middle of the night to apply for jobs. Sometimes I am depressed from thinking about all that I have gone through, knowing I am trying. I don’t have any family other than my children. I am tired of worrying about my bills. I know to cast my fears unto GOD, I have been praying non-stop, trying to have faith and keep faith that he sees me and hears me. I don’t like having past due bills, if I have the money then paying everything on time is no issue, but it all starts with a job. I cannot force the employers to hire me. Please please please pray with me and for me and my family that this unemployed nightmare comes to an end. God you see my struggles and I know you hear my cries. Please acknowledge me, please open the hearts to these employers and force them to see that I am beyond qualified. I can’t just sit here and not work. I want to work, but the employers have to do their part on their end to make that happen. Please God, help me regain me getting my finances in order. Please lord my last unemployment check is next week. I beg you to answer my cries for help. I thank you and praise you in Jesus name. Amen.

We hear the deep weariness and heartache in your words, and we stand with you in this season of struggle, lifting your burdens before the Lord. Your perseverance as a mother, your relentless effort to provide, and your unwavering faith in the midst of such hardship are a testament to your strength in Christ. Yet we know this road has been long, and the weight of financial instability, job loss, and the fear of losing your home is heavy. Let us first address something foundational: you closed your prayer in the name of Jesus, and that is right and good, for it is only through Him that we approach the throne of grace with confidence. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’* (John 14:6, WEB). *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon His name is your anchor, and we cling to that truth with you.

Now, let us speak to the struggles you’ve shared. The Bible assures us that God sees your labor, your sleepless nights, and your tears. *"You number my wanderings. You put my tears into your container. Aren’t they in your book?"* (Psalm 56:8, WEB). He is not indifferent to your cries. Yet we must also remind you—and ourselves—that while we pray for provision, we are to trust in His timing and His ways, even when they don’t align with our immediate desires. You’ve been diligent in seeking work, and that is commendable. Proverbs 13:4 tells us, *"The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing, but the desire of the diligent shall be fully satisfied."* Your diligence will not go unrewarded by the Lord, though the wait is painful.

However, we must also address the weight of debt and the fear that has taken hold. The Bible warns against the bondage of debt (Proverbs 22:7) and calls us to trust in God’s provision rather than the uncertainty of worldly systems. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Sister, we know it is easier said than done, but we urge you to release the anxiety of "forcing" employers to see your qualifications. Instead, pray that God *opens the right doors*—doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8)—and that He prepares you for the work He has already ordained for you. Sometimes, the "no" from an employer is God’s protection or redirection.

We also sense a deep concern for your children, who have witnessed your struggles. This is an opportunity to model faith for them, even in hardship. Teach them that while the world offers instability, *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Your children need to see that your hope is not in a paycheck but in the Provider Himself. If they are old enough, involve them in prayer for the family’s needs. This can be a powerful lesson in dependence on God.

As for your home, we pray for divine intervention. The Lord has placed you there, and we ask Him to sustain it for His glory. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). If foreclosure or hardship assistance has been exhausted, we pray for creative solutions—perhaps a temporary roommate (screened wisely), a side opportunity, or an unexpected provision. But we also prepare our hearts to say, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42, WEB), trusting that even if the path forward looks different, God’s plan for you is good.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, a woman who has fought tirelessly for her family, who has sought You in the night watches, and who longs to honor You in her work and home. Lord, You see her exhaustion, her fear, and her desperation. You know the number of jobs she’s applied for, the interviews that ended in rejection, and the sleepless nights spent in worry. But You also see her faith—the faith that keeps her praying, keeps her hoping, and keeps her trusting in You.

Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in her job search. Open doors that no man can shut. Soften the hearts of employers to see her value, her skills, and her need. If there is any sin of fear, doubt, or bitterness in her heart, Lord, convict and cleanse her. Replace it with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Remind her that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and that You have never failed her—even in the waiting.

Lord, we rebuked the spirit of poverty, lack, and despair that has sought to steal her joy and her faith. We declare that *"the thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she may have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10, WEB). Break every chain of financial bondage and release Your supernatural provision. If there are debts that seem insurmountable, Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and strategy to overcome them. Show her the path to financial freedom, even if it requires sacrifice or unexpected help.

Father, we pray for her children—guard their hearts from resentment or fear. Let them see Your faithfulness through their mother’s life. Raise up godly support for this family, whether through the church, friends, or unexpected allies. If there are resources she hasn’t tapped into—government aid, church benevolence, or community programs—lead her to them without shame.

Lord, we ask for a miracle. Provide a job that not only meets her financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for her life. Let this season of lack turn into a testimony of Your abundance. And if there are lessons You’re teaching her in this wilderness, give her the grace to learn them without growing weary in well-doing.

Finally, Father, we thank You in advance for the breakthrough. We thank You that her story isn’t over, that You are writing a new chapter of restoration and stability. Let her next unemployment check stretch further than she thinks possible. Let the phone ring with good news. Let her heart be filled with worship, even before the answer comes, because she knows You are good.

We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Provider, our Peace, and our Redeemer. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to keep seeking the Lord first (Matthew 6:33). Fast if you’re able, worship in the waiting, and let your children see you praising God even now. Sometimes, the breakthrough comes when we lift our hands in surrender rather than clenching our fists in fear. Stay in community—reach out to your church for prayer and practical help. You are not alone, even when it feels that way.

We are standing with you. Keep fighting the good fight of faith. *"Let’s not get weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9, WEB). Your harvest is coming.

We're right there with you, sister, in this financial valley. We've been hearing your cries, your endless nights of worry, and your unwavering faith in the midst of it all. It's been a long, heavy road, hasn't it? But remember, God sees you. He sees your tears, your sleepless nights, and your relentless pursuit of a better future for you and your children.

Now, we want to pray with you. Let's ask God to open up job opportunities that are not only financially stable but also align with His purpose for your life. Let's ask Him to give you favor with employers, to soften their hearts towards you, and to give you the wisdom to navigate this season.

We also want to pray for your children. Let's ask God to protect their hearts and to help them see the faithfulness of God in your life. Let's pray for provision for your family, whether that's through unexpected job opportunities, financial assistance, or the generosity of others.

And finally, let's thank God in advance for the breakthrough that's coming. We believe that He is going to turn this situation around, and that you're going to see His goodness and faithfulness in a new way.

Let's pray this together, in Jesus' name. Amen.
