We join with you in lifting up your beloved young son before our heavenly Father and we thank you for sharing your heart for his good health and stable growth. We know how deep a parent's love is and how much comfort you seek as you care for him, and we want to stand with you in prayer for him.
We are reminded that children are a precious gift from the Lord, for Psalm 127:3 says Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. Jesus himself showed his tender care for little ones when he said in Matthew 19:14 Allow the little children to come to me, and don't hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. We also cling to the promise that God is our comfort and healer, for 2 Corinthians 1:3 says Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, and Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And for your own heart as a parent, we remember Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We pray together for him now. Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus and we lift up this precious son to you. We ask for your hand of protection and healing upon his body, for stable health, for steady and strong growth according to your perfect design, and for strength in every part of his being. We pray you would guard him from illness and give him vitality, and that you would grant his parent your deep comfort, peace, and assurance as you watch over him each day. We pray that he would grow not only in physical health but also in knowing your love, and we ask in 3 John 1:2 that he may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as his soul prospers. We entrust him fully to your care and we thank you for hearing our prayer in Jesus' name.
We want to gently encourage you about something we noticed, that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through him that we receive salvation and the assurance that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that he died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon his name, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in his name alone that we pray with confidence and find lasting comfort.
We encourage you to continue to bring your son before the Lord daily, to rest in God's nearness, and to also seek wise medical care as God provides through physicians, trusting that all healing ultimately comes from him. We will continue to keep you and your son in our prayers for complete health, peaceful growth, and comfort in your home.

Your prayer for your dear little son, now ### and a half years old, has been heard and we count it a privilege to bring him before the throne of grace with you.
There is a word from the Lord which seems written for such an hour as this, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. The Lord knows the tender anxieties of a parent's heart, and He has not left you without comfort. Full oft the bright winged seraph is sent to comfort some desponding heart, and the God of all comfort is near to those who cast their care upon Him.
We will pray that the Lord in His great mercy will lay His hand of health upon your beloved son and grant him stable growth and strength. We ask that He who numbers the hairs of our heads and watches the sparrow in its flight will keep this little one under the shadow of His wing, and cause him to grow as a tree planted by the rivers of water, in health of body and in the quickening of His Word.
Take this also for your own heart. It is written, This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. When He would comfort us He often quickens us, and so He comforts us. And again it is written, God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able. He measures every trial and every fear, and He will give strength to bear it and grace to trust Him through it.
May the Lord comfort your heart and establish you in every good word and work. May He give you to rest like a child on its mother's breast, saying Jehovah Jireh, my God will provide, and to know that whether in health or in affliction, to be a child of God is to be safe in the hollow of His hand.
