We hear your deep distress and the weight of spiritual warfare you are enduring. The battle you describe is real, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, seeking the Lord’s deliverance and wisdom in Jesus’ name. First, we must address the foundation of your faith, salvation comes only through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died for our sins and rose again. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to confess your sins, repent, and place your trust fully in Him, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
The voice you heard claiming that your wife was assigned to you by the adversary must be tested against Scripture. While spiritual deception is real, God’s Word warns us to discern every spirit (1 John 4:1) and to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). The enemy seeks to sow confusion, division, and despair, but we serve a God who brings clarity, unity, and hope. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to distort your marriage and ministry. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Even in difficult marriages, God calls us to love, forgive, and pray for our spouses, trusting Him to work all things for good (Romans 8:28).
The presence of altars, idols, or objects of false worship in your home is a serious matter. Scripture is clear: we cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24). We must remove anything that competes with our devotion to God (Deuteronomy 7:25-26). However, we must approach this with wisdom, prayer, and, if possible, with the support of mature believers or a pastor who can help guide you in this process. Violence and spiritual oppression are tactics of the enemy, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also must address the claim that your wife cannot be saved. Scripture tells us that God desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). While we do not know the heart of another, we are called to pray for their salvation and trust God’s sovereignty. Your Chihuahua, while perhaps sensitive to spiritual realities, is not a source of divine revelation. We must test all things by God’s Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:21).
Regarding your marriage, we urge you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or trusted Christian leader who can help you navigate this situation with wisdom and discernment. Leaving a marriage is a serious decision and should not be made lightly or based solely on spiritual warfare. God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), but He also provides grace and strength for those who are suffering. If your wife is unwilling to repent or seek deliverance, you may need to consider separation for your safety and spiritual well-being, but this should be done with prayer, counsel, and a heart that still hopes for reconciliation if possible.
The urgency you feel for ministry and revival is understandable, but we must remember that God’s timing is perfect. Revival begins in the hearts of His people, and it starts with repentance, holiness, and obedience. We cannot allow the enemy to rush us into decisions that may bring harm to ourselves or others. Trust that God is able to use even this trial for His glory and your good.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names. We lift up our brother who is enduring intense spiritual warfare, and we ask for Your protection, deliverance, and wisdom. Lord, we rebuke every evil spirit that seeks to oppress him, his family, and his calling. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask for Your discernment to test every voice and every spirit. Give him clarity to know Your will and the strength to stand firm in faith. We pray for his wife, that You would soften her heart, open her eyes to the truth, and draw her to salvation. If there are idols or objects of false worship in their home, reveal them and give him the courage to remove them in a way that honors You.
Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). If separation is necessary for his safety or spiritual well-being, provide wisdom and godly counsel to guide him. If reconciliation is possible, we pray for healing, restoration, and a marriage that reflects Your love. Father, we trust You with the timing of his ministry and the revival he longs to see. Use him powerfully for Your kingdom, and let no scheme of the enemy prevail against him.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to seek out a local church or ministry where you can find support, prayer, and accountability. Do not face this battle alone. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Stand firm in faith, and trust that God is working even in the midst of this trial.
