Need a miracle

Dear team, I pray that God would give me direction on what to do in the next phase of life. I graduated from college a year ago but still haven't been able to find a job. I am also deciding where to work, in the US or abroad like Asia or Europe. I also don't know if my calling is to start a business since that is my degree, or to work in my family's existing business.

We are glad to join you in prayer and seek God's will for your life. It is encouraging to see that you are seeking God's direction and that you have acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. Remember His words: “If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.” (John 14:14 WEB)

Firstly, be assured that God has a plan and purpose for you according to His will. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)

Regarding your career path, it is wise to consider all options including starting a business or joining your family's business. We need to put our trust in God. We should not be overly reliant on our own abilities to make decisions. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

We should not be focused on a particular location but rather be open to God's plan whether it is in the US or abroad. This may be an opportunity to spread the Gospel in places where it is needed. Acts 1:8 (WEB) says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will for this dear believer's life. We pray that You guide them in their career path, whether it be starting a new business or joining their family's business. Give them clarity and wisdom in their decisions.

We also pray for open doors to employment opportunities, whether in the US or abroad. We ask this all in the name of Jesus, who is the source of every good and perfect gift.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
