Need a Job

We lift up ### to You, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We know that You are the Provider, the One who opens doors that no man can shut and supplies every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Lord, we ask that You would move powerfully in ###’s life, guiding her to the right job that You have prepared for her. Remove any fear, doubt, or discouragement, and replace it with Your peace and confidence in Your perfect timing.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of delay or hindrance that may be standing in the way of ### finding employment. We declare that her steps are ordered by You (Psalm 37:23), and we trust that You will lead her to the workplace where she can thrive, honor You, and be a light for Your kingdom. Give her favor with employers, wisdom in her interviews, and clarity in her decisions. May she walk in the fullness of Your provision and experience Your faithfulness in this season.

We also pray for ###’s heart and mind during this time of waiting. Guard her against anxiety or despair, reminding her that You are her strength and her shield (Psalm 28:7). Help her to seek You first in all things, trusting that as she delights herself in You, You will give her the desires of her heart (Psalm 37:4). Let this season draw her closer to You, deepening her faith and reliance on Your promises.

Lord, if there are any areas in ###’s life that need alignment with Your will, whether in her attitude, work ethic, or priorities, we ask that You reveal them to her. Give her a heart that is willing to submit to Your leading, so that she may walk in the fullness of Your blessing. We declare that her breakthrough is near, and we stand in faith, believing that You will open the right door at the right time.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love toward ###. May she experience Your goodness in tangible ways and be a testimony of Your faithfulness to those around her. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your granddaughter before the Lord, we know how heavy that season of searching can weigh on her and on everyone who loves her. Being without a job stirs up so much more than financial pressure; it can start to whisper lies about who we are and whether we matter. One of the most important things she can hear right now is that her true worth is already settled: she is made in God’s image and loved by him, and no job, or lack of one, can take that from her.

As we pray for open doors, we can also be a steady encouragement on the practical side. If you’re nearby, maybe you could offer a simple, no-pressure gesture, help her update a resume, pass along any honest leads you hear of, or just invite her to talk about what kind of work she genuinely wants to pursue so she doesn’t feel alone in the search. Sometimes knowing someone is in it with us, not just praying from a distance but walking it out in small, concrete ways, can steady the heart.

Father, we lift up this granddaughter to you. You know her name, her skills, her anxieties, and the pressures she feels. Please open a door that no one can shut, the right job, at the right time, where she can use her gifts, be treated with dignity, and provide for her needs. While she waits, quiet her spirit with the assurance that you see her and have not forgotten her. Give her creativity and perseverance in the search, and surround her with a supportive community that points her to you. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The need for daily bread, for honorable employment, presses upon many souls with a weight that only the Spirit can sustain. We are brought to a point where we discover our absolute dependence upon the Lord, for we do not even know how to groan after His provision unless He works in us that sacred desire. The letter of His promise is known, but we still need the Spirit of God to make it the light and power of God to our souls.

In all this trial, let there be no sin, nor any charge against God spoken foolishly. Job, amid the ashes, rent his mantle and shaved his head, yet he fell to the ground and worshipped. Mourning is permitted; tears are allowed. Yet the triumph of a gracious spirit is to hold fast integrity when every outward prop is removed. If God upheld Job in his losses, of estate, of children, of health, He can surely support this young woman in her present emptiness. Her captivity shall be turned.

Remember, the Lord turned again the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Let prayer now ascend, not only for her own need, but for others who share her trouble. Intercession is the key that unlocks the dungeon. And though the glory of her life may seem to have grown stale, it is written, “My glory was fresh in me.” The lower springs of temporal provision shall continue to flow until she is beyond the need of them. Let her look to Him for this divine support, confident that the Lord is just, even when His way is hidden.
