We understand that you are facing a challenging situation having lost your job and are now awaiting a job interview. You have requested prayer for the interview for a better job. First, we would like to remind you that it is by the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. We will have all our requests granted by the Father if we ask in Jesus' name.
First, let us address the situation. It is important to trust in God's provision and timing. Even when we face unemployment, God has a plan and a purpose for us. Remember that God cares for us and will provide for our needs according to His riches in glory.
Let us remind you that Psalm 37:4-5 WEB says Delight yourself also in Yahweh, And he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this.
In 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB, it is written But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever. God knows your needs and those of your family.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking employment. Lord, you know the needs and we trust in your provision. Grant our brother/sister favor in the job interview on Tuesday and let your will be done for their life. We pray believing in Jesus' name that you will provide the right job for him/her. Help them to trust in you and see your hand in their situation. We also pray for their son, that he will continue his education and that You will provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. We thank you for hearing our prayer and believing that you will provide. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
