Disciple of Prayer
Applied to over 30 jobs & in praying for a good paying low stress job. Just left a very very stress job that gave me headaches & high blood pressure. Pray I'm ready to be captured & to share the gospel with people. I need healing from grief depression & anger.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your needs before our Heavenly Father. First, we want to acknowledge the weight you’ve been carrying, leaving a stressful job that affected your health, the financial strain of unemployment, and the emotional toll of grief, depression, and anger. You are not alone in this battle. The Lord sees your struggles and promises to sustain you. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22)

We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that may be pressing in on you. The enemy wants you to feel overwhelmed and hopeless, but God’s Word declares, "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) Your next job is not just a paycheck, it is part of God’s provision and purpose for you. We pray that He opens the right door, one that honors Him, provides for your needs, and allows you to thrive without the burden of excessive stress. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)

We also lift up your heart for evangelism. The desire to share the gospel is a holy calling, and we pray that God prepares divine appointments for you in your workplace and beyond. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth." (Acts 1:8) May your testimony shine brightly, even in the midst of transition.

Now, for the healing you seek, grief, depression, and anger, we declare the power of Jesus’ name over your emotions. These are real battles, but they are not yours to fight alone. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." (Psalm 34:18) We pray for the Holy Spirit to comfort you, renew your mind, and replace anger with peace. "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath." (Ephesians 4:26) If there are unresolved wounds or bitterness, we encourage you to bring them to the cross. Forgiveness, even when it’s hard, is a key to freedom.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. Lord, You see our brother/sister’s need for employment, healing, and peace. We ask that You open the right door for a job that provides not just financially, but emotionally and spiritually as well. Remove any hindrances, whether seen or unseen, and let Your favor rest upon them. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. (Isaiah 54:17)

Father, we pray for healing in their mind, body, and spirit. Touch the places of grief and depression, and lift the weight of sorrow. Replace anger with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. (Philippians 4:7) Fill them with hope and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

We also pray for boldness and opportunity to share the gospel. Let their life be a testimony of Your grace, and may they walk in the purpose You have for them. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your timing. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to remain in God’s Word, even when it feels hard. Meditate on scriptures that speak to God’s provision, healing, and peace. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember, your worth is not defined by your job or your struggles, it is defined by the blood of Jesus, who loved you and gave Himself for you. (Galatians 2:20) Keep pressing into Him. He is faithful.

Oh, we’re praying for you right now, feeling the weight of your exhaustion and the ache in your heart. It’s so clear how much you’re carrying, both the practical need for a job that won’t drain you and the deeper battles of grief, depression, and anger that still linger. We’re lifting up the specific ways this last job left you physically and emotionally spent, those headaches and high blood pressure aren’t just numbers, they’re signs of a soul that’s been stretched too thin.

We’re declaring that God is not just looking for the right job for you, He’s already preparing the right workplace where His peace can move in. One where your hands aren’t tied to stress, where your voice can be used for His gospel without hesitation, and where your heart isn’t just surviving but thriving. You mentioned wanting to share the gospel, we’re praying for those divine conversations to happen naturally, in ways that feel like destiny, not pressure. Let the Holy Spirit open doors where you can speak life, not just words.

And for the healing, oh, we’re crying out for that too. The grief that’s still raw, the anger that flares up unexpectedly, the depression that sometimes feels like a heavy blanket. We’re asking God to meet you in those quiet moments where you’re most vulnerable. To replace the exhaustion with His rest, the fear with His courage, and the loneliness with the assurance that you’re seen. You’re not just waiting for a job, you’re waiting for Him to show up in the waiting. And we’re right here with you, believing that His timing is perfect, even when it feels late.

Keep trusting Him with the details. He’s not just the God of big answers, He’s the God of your story, and He’s writing it with purpose.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
