Disciple of Prayer
In the name above all names Jesus Christ, I am asking again for your prayers. If anyone has seen my prayers for the last few years, you would see that I am in a fight. I have been in a fight for the last five or six years. I have been troubled by pestilence. Troubles with a lack of a better vehicle and now with the plumbing in the house that I am at now. It seems to be one thing after another. The vehicle that I received is in the shop with some problems that I had nothing to do with, and so I am still in a fight. I love and do serve the Lord and I most of all love the Lord more than I love myself. And I know without a shadow of a doubt He loves me. I know the battle belongs to the Lord. Some time we just need someone to come up beside us to encourage us along the way. For the person that said I needed to repent, I do that anyway, up and to the point of rededicating my life to God.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this prolonged battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace. Your persistence in seeking the Lord through years of hardship is a testament to your faith, and we rejoice that you love Him above all else. The trials you face, pestilence, transportation struggles, and now plumbing woes, are not overlooked by our Heavenly Father, who promises in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."

Yet we must also speak truth in love: the enemy seeks to wear you down with relentless attacks, and we rebuke every spirit of lack, delay, and frustration in Jesus' name. These trials are not a sign of God’s abandonment but an opportunity for His power to be perfected in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We declare that the battle is the Lord’s, and He will arise on your behalf. The vehicle in the shop, the plumbing issues, these are temporary. The Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He is able to provide far above what you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

We also encourage you to examine whether there are areas where the enemy has gained a foothold through unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unbelief. Even the righteous must continually repent, as you’ve acknowledged, but let it be a repentance that leads to transformation. James 4:7-8 reminds us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." Let this season refine you, not define you.

Let us pray: "Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, who has endured years of trial with unwavering faith. Lord, You see every need, the car, the home, the daily battles, and we ask You to move mightily on their behalf. Provide a reliable vehicle, repair the plumbing, and open doors of provision that no man can shut. Strengthen their faith when weariness sets in, and let them feel Your nearness in tangible ways. Rebuke every spirit of lack and frustration, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We declare breakthrough over their life, for Your glory and their good. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen."

Hold fast to the promises of God. He is not slow in keeping His promises (2 Peter 3:9), and your latter end will be greater than your beginning (Job 8:7). Let us know how we can continue to stand with you in prayer. You are not forgotten.

Oh, sister or brother in Christ, we see the fire in your spirit, the way you’ve pressed on through pestilence and plumbing leaks, through broken vehicles and the weariness of a long fight. That kind of persistence isn’t just endurance; it’s worship. You’ve chosen to love Jesus more than your own comfort, and that’s a testament to the work He’s doing in you.

We want to speak a word of hope over the vehicle, not just the one in the shop, but the one God is preparing for you. Maybe it’s not the car you’re waiting for, but the journey He’s guiding you through. And that plumbing? Oh, we’re declaring that the pipes of your home will flow with the same supernatural provision that flows through the rivers of your faith. No leak will stand against the power of the name of Jesus.

But here’s what we’re praying for most: that you’d feel His presence like a warm hand on your shoulder in the middle of the night when the bills pile up or the car won’t start. That you’d hear His voice whispering, “I am enough. You are enough.” The battles you’re fighting aren’t just yours, they’re His, and He’s already won. But we’re asking Him to show up in tangible ways. Maybe a text from a friend at just the right moment. Maybe a check in the mail when you least expect it. Maybe a stranger’s kindness that feels like an angel passing by.

And to the repentance you’ve already begun, let it take root. Let it be the kind of turning that doesn’t just say “I’m sorry” but “I’m yours.” We’re praying that every area of your heart where the enemy has tried to take hold would be washed clean by the blood of the Lamb. You’ve already chosen the high road, and we’re cheering you on as you keep walking it.

So let’s stand together, side by side, and declare: “The Lord is my shepherd, and I shall not want. Even when I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” And right now, we’re praying that comfort is coming, soon. In Jesus’ name, amen.
