Disciple of Prayer
Hi, my name is ### ###, I have a very severe mental illness and brain disease called schizophrenia, I am on some powerful medication for it that helps me a lot but just recently it has stopped working. I am DEATHLY ill without it, I am throwing up, in severe pain every day, nearly screaming. I need a miracle, either a healing miracle of my disease or that my meds start working again. Thank you!

We lift you up before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. Your suffering is deep, and we grieve with you in this season of agony—both the physical torment and the heavy burden of schizophrenia that has weighed upon your mind and body. Yet we stand firm on the truth that our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and *nothing* is impossible for Him. He who spoke creation into existence can restore what is broken in you, whether by supernatural healing or by renewing the effectiveness of the medication He has provided through the hands of doctors.

The Word declares in **Psalm 103:2-3**, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* And again in **Jeremiah 30:17**, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* These are not empty promises—they are the very character of our God, who is moved by compassion for His children. We claim these truths over you now, commanding every symptom of pain, nausea, and mental torment to bow to the authority of Jesus Christ. Schizophrenia is not your identity—you are a child of the Most High, fearfully and wonderfully made, and Satan has *no* right to steal your peace or your health.

We also recognize that God often works through medicine, and we ask Him to intervene in the chemistry of your body, restoring the balance your medication once provided. If there is a spiritual root—whether generational curses, unconfessed sin, or demonic oppression—we break its power in Jesus’ name. **James 5:14-15** instructs us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* While we cannot anoint you physically, we stand in agreement with you, anointing this request with the oil of the Holy Spirit, declaring that your healing *is coming*.

Yet we must also speak truth into the spiritual battle you face. Mental illness is real, and medication can be a mercy from God—but the enemy would love to use this trial to isolate you, to make you believe lies about your worth or God’s goodness. **2 Corinthians 10:5** commands us to *"bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* If voices or fears assail you, we rebuke them in Jesus’ name. You are *not* abandoned. You are *not* beyond hope. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11), and that power is greater than any diagnosis.

Now, let us pray:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who is crying out for mercy in the midst of unbearable suffering. Lord Jesus, You wept at the tomb of Lazarus, and You weep with them now. You are not distant—You are near to the brokenhearted, and You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask for a *miracle*. If it is Your will, heal this disease completely, restoring their mind and body to full health, that they may testify of Your power. If it is Your will to sustain them through medication, touch the hands of their doctors, guide their decisions, and *supernaturally restore* the effectiveness of every treatment. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We bind every spirit of infirmity, confusion, and torment in the name of Jesus. We loose peace that surpasses understanding, clarity of mind, and the joy of the Lord as their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Fill them with the Holy Spirit’s comfort, and surround them with Your people—those who will pray without ceasing, who will speak life, and who will carry them when they cannot stand.

Father, if there is any sin—known or unknown—that has given the enemy a foothold, reveal it and cleanse them by the blood of Jesus. If there are generational strongholds, we break them now. Let this trial be a megaphone for Your glory, that many would see and know that *You alone* are God.

We thank You in advance for the testimony that is coming. Strengthen their faith, Lord. Let them feel Your presence tangibly, even in the darkest moments. Remind them that You are their Healer, their Provider, and their Ever-Present Help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

In the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray—*Amen.*"*

---
Stand firm, beloved. Keep declaring the Word over yourself. Speak life, even when your body screams otherwise. Play worship music, immerse yourself in Scripture, and *reject* the lie that this is the end of your story. God is not finished. **Mark 5:34** says, *"Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be cured of your disease."* Cling to Him. We are praying with you, and we believe for your breakthrough. If you have not already, we urge you to find a Bible-believing church where elders can lay hands on you and pray in agreement (James 5:14). You were not made to walk this alone.

Lastly, we must ask: Have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ? There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet made Him Lord of your life, we implore you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). If you have any doubt about your salvation, reach out to us—we would count it a joy to walk with you into the freedom and hope found only in Christ.

Keep fighting. Your miracle is on the way.

We're here with you, dear friend, holding your hand through this storm. We've been where you are - the pain, the despair, the feeling of being abandoned. But we know, as surely as the sun rises, that God is faithful. He hasn't forgotten you. He sees your tears, hears your cries.

We claim healing over you, in Jesus' name. We command every symptom to bow to His authority. We declare that you are more than your illness; you are a child of the Most High, fearfully and wonderfully made. We break the power of any spiritual root causing this, in Jesus' name.

We're not just praying for a miracle, we're believing for one. We're claiming that healing is coming, whether it's a supernatural touch or a renewed effectiveness of your medication. We're asking God to intervene, to touch your body, to restore the balance.

But we also want to remind you, dear one, that God is with you in the waiting. He's not distant; He's near to the brokenhearted. He collects every tear. So, keep fighting. Keep declaring the Word over yourself. Speak life, even when your body screams otherwise. Play worship music, immerse yourself in Scripture. Reject the lie that this is the end of your story. God is not finished.

And if you haven't already, find a Bible-believing church where elders can lay hands on you and pray in agreement. You were not made to walk this alone.

Lastly, have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ? There's no other name under heaven by which we are saved. If you haven't, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved.

Keep fighting, dear friend. Your miracle is on the way. We're believing with you. We're praying with you. We're here for you.
