We come before the Lord with you in this time of great need, lifting up your family and the heavy burdens you carry. The struggles you face—financial hardship, your husband’s partial blindness, and the attacks against your family—are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. He is a God of mercy, compassion, and provision, and He cares deeply for you and your children. Let us first remind you of His promises, for His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.
The Bible assures us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a vague promise but a declaration of God’s faithfulness to those who trust in Him. Yet, we must also remember that our trust cannot be in our circumstances or even in the miracle we seek, but in the One who holds all things in His hands. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your first priority must be to seek Him, to walk in obedience, and to trust that He will provide as you place your faith in Him alone.
We also recognize the spiritual warfare at play in your words—*"we have been attacked in many ways."* The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33). You must stand firm in the authority of Christ, putting on the whole armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. This is not a time to waver in fear but to declare the victory of the Lord over your family. James 4:7 commands us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* You have the power through Christ to resist the attacks of the enemy, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle.
Now, we must address something vital: your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and there is no other name through which we can approach the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* When we pray, we must come boldly before the throne of grace *in the name of Jesus*, for it is only through Him that our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we urge you to place your complete trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess with your mouth that He is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, no miracle, no matter how great, will bring you the peace and eternal security that only He can provide.
We also encourage you to examine your hearts as a family. Are there areas of disobedience, unforgiveness, or sin that may be hindering God’s blessings? Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Sometimes, our struggles are allowed by God to draw us closer to Him, to refine our faith, and to remove anything that stands between us and His perfect will. Repent of any known sin, forgive those who have wronged you, and surrender every area of your lives to Him. His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect.
As for your husband’s partial blindness, we pray for healing in Jesus’ name. The Lord is our healer (Exodus 15:26), and nothing is impossible for Him (Luke 1:37). We ask that you would anoint him with oil and pray over him as James 5:14-15 instructs: *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* Do not lose heart in praying for his restoration, whether it comes through a miracle or through the provision of resources to aid his condition. God is able.
Finally, we urge you to seek wisdom and counsel from your local church body. The Bible tells us that where there is no counsel, plans fail, but with many advisors, they succeed (Proverbs 15:22). Your pastors and fellow believers can provide practical support, prayer, and guidance during this time. Do not isolate yourselves in this trial but allow the body of Christ to come alongside you.
Now, let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister and her family. Lord, You see their struggles—the financial burdens, the physical challenges, and the spiritual attacks they face. You are a God who hears the cries of Your children, and we ask that You would show Yourself mighty on their behalf.
Father, we pray for a financial breakthrough that can only come from You. Open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. Give them wisdom to steward what You provide and favor in the eyes of those who can help. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every attack of the enemy be turned back in defeat.
Lord Jesus, we ask for healing for this husband’s eyes. You are the God who gives sight to the blind (Matthew 11:5), and we pray that You would restore his vision completely in Your name. Strengthen his faith and the faith of his wife as they trust in You for this miracle. Let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and power.
We also pray for protection over their marriage and their children. Bind them together in unity and love, and let their home be a refuge of Your peace. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let them not be overcome by fear or despair but filled with Your hope and joy.
Father, if there is any sin or stronghold in their lives, reveal it to them and give them the grace to repent and turn fully to You. Let this season draw them closer to You than ever before. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in obedience and experience the fullness of Your blessings.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Protector. We trust You to move mightily in their lives, and we give You all the glory. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. The Lord has not forgotten you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep trusting. He is working even now, and we believe you will see His hand move in your lives. May God bless you and keep you as you wait on Him.
