Neck and shoulder problems.

Hi, I have a prayer request. I have a congenitally handicapped arm that has caused my heart to be placed in crooked. This has caused shoulder issues, loss of voice, burning in face, electrical sensations in my arm and neck, over-the-top headaches, dizziness, pain in chest and back. I keep praying, but nothing is getting better. Please pray in Jesus's name. Amen.

We hear your cry and we lift you up together before the throne of grace, for we know how weary you must be carrying this pain in your neck, shoulders, chest and back, with headaches, dizziness, burning in your face, electrical sensations, loss of voice, and the burden of a congenitally handicapped arm that has affected even the placement of your heart. We thank you for asking us to pray in Jesus name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find healing and hope.

We want to remind you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and God knew you even before you were formed. Psalm 139:13-14 says you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and Psalm 34:18 tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Though you have prayed and feel nothing is getting better, we want to assure you that He hears every prayer. Luke 18:1 encourages us that we should always pray and not give up, and 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says to pray without ceasing. His timing is not our timing, and His ways are higher than ours, but He has not forgotten you.

We also cling to His promises as our Healer. Exodus 15:26 says I am Yahweh who heals you, and Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And Isaiah 53:5 reminds us by his wounds we are healed. Even when healing does not come instantly, His grace sustains us, for 2 Corinthians 12:9 says My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness, and Romans 8:28 assures us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear one who is suffering so deeply in body. Lord, You see the crookedness and strain placed upon the heart and shoulders, the pain in the neck, chest and back, the burning and electrical sensations, the headaches and dizziness, and the loss of voice. We ask for Your healing touch upon every nerve, muscle, joint and organ. Lord, restore what has been affected from birth, ease the pain, calm the nerves, clear the headaches and dizziness, and restore the voice. We pray for Your peace to guard the heart and mind, for Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Father, guide any doctors and therapists who care for this dear one, give them wisdom to find the cause and bring relief, for You often work through the hands of physicians. Above all, let Your will be done and let Your presence be felt in a powerful way, giving endurance and hope even in this trial. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Healer and our Hope, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this burden to the Lord daily, and also to seek continued medical care with trusted doctors who can evaluate the alignment of your heart, spine, and nerves, as God gives wisdom to those who seek help. James 5:14-15 encourages us to call for the elders of the assembly to pray over us, so we also encourage you to let your local church family lay hands on you and pray with you in person. Do not lose heart, for though outwardly we may waste away, inwardly we are being renewed day by day. We are standing with you and believing with you for relief, strength, and healing according to His perfect will.

Thank you for trusting us with this. We hear how heavy and exhausting this has been, living with a congenital arm condition that affects your heart placement and now so many painful symptoms in your shoulders, neck, face, chest and back, along with headaches, dizziness and loss of voice. To keep praying and feel like nothing is getting better is discouraging, and we want you to know we are carrying this with you before the Lord.

Long term pain and ongoing health struggles can wear down anyone. They can leave you feeling fragile and weary, and make even small setbacks feel huge. It is understandable to feel worn out when you have been hurting for so long.

We are praying for you, and we also encourage you to share all of these symptoms promptly with your doctor or medical provider, alongside prayer, not instead of it. With chest pain, dizziness, voice changes and burning or electrical sensations, it is important to be evaluated soon. If you are able, it can help to bring a trusted family member or friend with you and a written list of what you are experiencing to share with the clinician.

You do not have to walk through this alone. We are asking God to give you steady support around you in the days ahead.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see this body You created and every ache and worry carried for so long. Bring comfort, wisdom for those providing care, and peace in the waiting. Sustain our friend day by day and guide each next step according to Your will. Amen.

Your prayer has reached us and we have carried it before the Lord with heaviness of heart for the long affliction you describe. To live with a congenitally handicapped arm and to feel its effects through the whole frame, the crooked placing of the heart, the shoulder and neck and back pain, the burning and electrical sensations, the headaches and dizziness, the loss of voice and distress in the chest, is a heavy burden indeed. We do not take lightly that you have kept praying and yet have seen no relief, and we thank you for trusting us to pray with you in the name of Jesus.

We want to assure you of this, that unanswered petitions are not unheard. The Lord keeps a file for the prayers of His people and they are treasured in the King's archives. Your sighs and tears are not fruitless. Brethren must not take delays in prayer for denial. God's long dated bills will be punctually honored. What seems to us to be a denial is often only a delay, and the Lord is strengthening the muscles and tendons and sinews of the soul by the arduous exercise of waiting prayer, that you may be made more useful and more conformed to Christ in the future. Sincere prayer may often be very feeble to us, but it is always acceptable to God. He will hear the prayer of a staggering man, even the prayer that seems to reel to and fro because the one who prays is at his wit's end.

Do not think that your affliction has placed you beyond His care. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. He is the Good Physician, and only those who have been healed can fully tell of His healing power. Whether He heals by His own immediate hand or by the wise means He has provided, all healing flows from Him. We would encourage you, even as you look to Him in prayer, to continue to seek faithful medical care for these pressing symptoms, especially for pain in the chest, dizziness and loss of voice, and to let those who care for your body be helpers under His hand.

We have prayed for you and we continue to pray, that the Lord would have mercy upon you and grant you relief according to His perfect wisdom, that He would ease the pain in neck and shoulder and back and chest, calm the burning and strange sensations, lift the headaches and dizziness, and restore your voice. Above all we pray that He would give you a deep sense of His presence in this trial, that high thoughts of God would beget hope in your soul, and that hope would lead to confidence in Christ who alone is our salvation. There is no hope for us in ourselves, but there is hope for us in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior. If you have prayed ever so long, yet hope on. Hope you in God, for you shall yet praise Him who is the strength of your life.

We plead with the Lord for you now. O Lord our God, look in compassion upon this afflicted one. You know the frame You have made and every pain and weariness within it. Have mercy and blot out sin through the blood of Jesus, and grant healing as it pleases Your goodness. Hear this feeble yet sincere prayer, treasured before Your throne. Give patience in waiting, faith to wrestle like Jacob who would not let go until blessed, and grace to say even in suffering, Your will be done. Comfort the heart, quiet the fears, and let Your healing virtue flow, whether in this life or in the perfect wholeness to come. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and our Great Physician. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and the great weight you are carrying is not overlooked. To live with a handicapped arm from birth, with your heart affected and your body placed under such strain, and then to endure shoulder pain, loss of voice, burning in the face, electrical sensations in the arm and neck, severe headaches, dizziness, and pain in the chest and back is a heavy trial. It is understandable that you are weary from praying and seeing no relief.

Scripture encourages us not to limit prayer to certain times of day, but to pray at all seasons and to watch with perseverance. We are told to pray without ceasing. You have heard of the widow who prevailed by her importunity, of the friend who at midnight shamed his friend into yielding by his persistence, and of the Syrophoenician and Canaanite women who by constancy and perseverance called forth the Lord's compassion even when the first answer seemed to be no. They teach us that although we are unworthy, we often by perseverance become able to receive, and that God honors the prayer that does not give up.

We also know that when the body is ill we do everything to be rid of the pain, and rightly so, for God cares for the body. Yet prayer is the great weapon given to us for every day, with its rocks and storms, and we need it early and by night. Even when healing is slow to come, prayer keeps us near to God and keeps God propitious to us, and that is our greatest security.

So we will pray with you and for you, and we encourage you to continue in prayer and supplication in the Spirit, not losing heart.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son we lift up this suffering brother and sister to you. You see the body you formed and you know every pain in the neck and shoulders, every headache and dizziness, every burning and electrical sensation, every loss of voice and every ache in chest and back. Have mercy and grant relief according to your compassion and wisdom. Ease what can be eased, strengthen what is weak, and grant wisdom to doctors and caregivers who may help. Above all, give comfort to the soul, endurance in trial, and assurance that you hear every prayer offered in Jesus name. Grant perseverance to keep praying and trusting you, whether the answer comes quickly or through long waiting. Let your will be done and your comfort be felt day by day. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about the heavy burden you have been carrying with your arm, your heart, shoulders, voice, and the constant pain, burning, headaches and dizziness. God sees what you are enduring and He values you deeply. You are His treasure, and He does not overlook your suffering or your prayers.

I understand how discouraging it is to keep praying and feel like nothing is getting better. Please do not stop praying. The work God does in our lives is wrought through prayer. Those who learn to pray are those God uses and answers, not because their words are perfect, but because God hears the cry of His people from heaven. There are times when prayer goes beyond words, when what is in the heart is too deep to express, and even then God understands. He hears not only the words you speak but the groaning of your heart.

Scripture reminds us that greatness and power and glory and victory and majesty belong to the Lord, and all that is in heaven and in earth is His. Nothing is outside His rule or beyond His care. There is power in the name of Jesus to bring healing and wholeness. When the lame man was healed, it was declared that it was by the name of Jesus that he stood whole. That same name is the name in which we come to the Father for you now.

I am praying for you, and others are joining in prayer for you, that God would have mercy and bring relief. I pray that He would ease the pain in your chest and back, quiet the burning and electrical sensations, lift the headaches and dizziness, and restore strength to your voice and body. I pray He would give wisdom to any doctors who care for you and give you peace and strength for each day as you wait on Him. Even when answers seem delayed, God is still hearing and working, and He invites you to keep coming to Him simply and honestly.

Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one to You. You know the body You created and every affliction that has come with a handicapped arm and a heart that is not placed as it should be. You see the shoulder trouble, the loss of voice, the burning, the headaches, the pain. Hear this prayer from Your dwelling place in heaven. Lay Your healing hand upon this body, bring comfort where there is pain, calm where there is distress, and strength where there is weakness. Let Your power and glory be known in this life. Give sustaining grace, renewed hope, and the assurance of Your love and presence each day. I ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord regarding the neck and shoulder problems you shared with us. We have been praying for the congenital condition in your arm and how it has caused your heart to be placed in a crooked position, and for all the suffering that has followed including the shoulder issues, loss of voice, burning in your face, electrical sensations in your arm and neck, severe headaches, dizziness and pain in your chest and back. We know you shared that you keep praying but nothing is getting better and we understand how discouraging and wearying that can feel when you carry such daily pain. We are asking the Lord to touch your body with His healing hand, to ease your pain and to bring you comfort and strength.

We take comfort in the promise that He heals all our diseases as written in Psalm 103:3 and that He will give strength to the weary as written in Isaiah 40:29. We pray that you will feel His presence and peace in a very real way during this difficult time.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We are honored to continue standing with you and bringing your needs before the Father.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus name, Amen.
