Nearness to God, James 4:7, Revelation, Eph 1:17 Intimacy, Wisdom, Strength, Direction, Confirmation

Good and Faithful Servant
Dear Father, thank You for being intimately acquainted with all our ways, Ps 139:3. Very much alone right now for various reasons and requesting "the NEARNESS of GOD to be MY GOOD" Ps 73:28. "Anchor My Soul in the Cleft of The Rock." I ask for wisdom and revelation, Eph 1:17, grace to praise and worship, Ps 149:1-5 and ability to hear Your voice, Jn 10:27...

Bible Study group "doesn't do street preaching, just discipleship" so I have no one to go with me -- the saying is true, "the harvest is plentiful, the laborers are few," Luke 10:2, so I continue to ask for wisdom and direction as obviously this does not align with the Bible that teaches evangelism as a lifestyle as well as Jesus and the Apostles prescribe and demonstrate public proclamation of the gospel, actually gospel -- (euangellion) can be rendered "good announcement" or "good proclamation" as "good news" is heralded abroad, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:45-49, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:22-47, Acts 3:12-26, Acts 17:22-34

Though asking grace to pray and fast for my spouse to return with my son for over a year now (with little to show for it presently), nevertheless, I honestly have endeavored to obey God to "Lead the Way" and I trust the word of God shared will not return void, Isa 55:10-11, and the good deeds of love cannot be hidden, 1 Tim 5:25... Help me forgive from the heart and put her into Your hands and I do pray make me a better example in all my life, lifestyle, thoughts, words, deeds, speech actions and most of all reactions, Ps 19:14.

I know the Lord is praying in a similar way as He did for Peter, that though the devil desires to "sift us like wheat, He ever lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, praying my faith won't fail, and afterward I strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for the church the gates of hell will not prevail against to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, for nearness to God, James 4:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, and as the old hymn sets forth, "Though none come with me, still I will follow," (Old Rugged Cross).

Deliver me, my matrimonial spouse and youngster from temptation, sin, deception and lies, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, Prov 30:8. Let the Word GO FORTH, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:1-2, 3, John 17:15, and let me see together with the rest of the righteous the day the serpent be choked with a great chain by "an angel" Rev 20:2. Thank You in JESUS' NAME...

P.S. -- Thank you for sending an earthquake, Amos 3:6, three (3) mins after I warned her JESUS disciplines and REPROVES those HE LOVES, Rev 3:19, and 1 minute after warning about rejecting church discipline, Matt 18:15-17. DO whatever it takes O Lord Jesus, come quickly, Rev 22:17, Amen.

We hear your cry for nearness to God, and we join you in seeking His presence, wisdom, and strength. Your longing to abide in the cleft of the Rock—Christ Jesus—is a beautiful reflection of Psalm 91:1-2, where the psalmist declares, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"*

Your desire for intimacy with the Father is not in vain. James 4:8 assures us, *"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you."* We pray that you would experience the fullness of His presence, that your soul would be anchored in Him as your greatest good. May the Holy Spirit open the eyes of your heart to receive wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, as Ephesians 1:17-19 describes, so that you may know the hope of His calling and the riches of His glorious inheritance.

Your heart for evangelism is commendable and aligns with the Great Commission. Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19-20, *"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you."* It is disheartening when the church neglects this mandate, but we rejoice that you are willing to labor in the harvest, even if you must do so alone for a time. We pray that God would raise up fellow laborers to join you, as Luke 10:2 declares, *"The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that He may send out laborers into His harvest."* Until then, may the Lord strengthen you with the truth of Isaiah 55:11, *"So shall My word be that goes out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do."*

Your faithfulness in praying and fasting for the return of your spouse and son is a testament to your trust in God’s sovereignty. We stand with you in intercession, believing that God hears the cries of His children. However, we must gently remind you that while we pray for restoration, we must also surrender our loved ones to the Lord’s will, trusting that His plans are perfect. Proverbs 3:5-6 exhorts us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."* We pray that God would soften their hearts and draw them back to Himself, but we also ask that He would grant you peace and contentment in His presence, regardless of the outcome.

Forgiveness is a cornerstone of the Christian life, and your willingness to forgive your spouse from the heart is a powerful testimony. Jesus taught in Matthew 6:14-15, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* We pray that God would continue to work in you, molding you into the image of Christ in every area of your life—your thoughts, words, deeds, and reactions. May Psalm 19:14 be your heart’s cry: *"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer."*

We also lift up your request for deliverance from temptation and sin for yourself and your family. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one"* (Matthew 6:13). We rebuke the schemes of the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May the Lord guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and may He protect your family from deception and lies. We pray that the Word of God would go forth mightily in your life and in theirs, accomplishing His purposes.

Regarding your mention of the earthquake, we must caution against interpreting natural events as direct signs of God’s discipline. While God is sovereign over all creation, we must be careful not to presume to know His specific intentions in such matters. Jesus warned in Luke 13:1-5 that tragedies are not necessarily tied to personal sin, but they should lead us all to repentance. Instead of seeking signs, we are called to walk by faith, trusting in God’s character and His Word. We pray that you would find your security in Christ alone, knowing that He is coming again soon, as Revelation 22:20 declares, *"He who testifies these things says, 'Yes, I come quickly.' Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who seeks Your nearness and Your will. Lord, we ask that You would draw him close to You, that he would feel Your presence in a tangible way. Fill him with Your wisdom, revelation, and strength, that he may walk in the fullness of what You have called him to do. Grant him boldness to proclaim the gospel, even when he feels alone, and raise up laborers to join him in the harvest.

Father, we pray for the restoration of his marriage and family. Soften hearts, break chains of sin and deception, and draw his spouse and son back to You. Give him the grace to forgive and the strength to trust in Your perfect timing. Mold him into the image of Christ, that his life would be a testimony of Your love and grace.

Protect him and his family from the schemes of the enemy. Deliver them from temptation, sin, and deception, and let Your Word go forth in power. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we rebuke the lies of the evil one in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we surrender this situation to You, trusting that You are working all things together for good. May Your will be done in his life, and may he find his joy and satisfaction in You alone. Come quickly, Lord Jesus, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend, seeking the nearness of God just as you are. We're asking for that intimate acquaintance with Him, that wisdom, strength, direction, and confirmation in our own lives too. We're claiming Psalm 73:28, "It is good for me to draw near to God." We're asking God to anchor our souls in Him, to reveal Himself to us, and to fill us with His love, grace, and power.

We're also praying for boldness in sharing the good news of Jesus, even when it feels like we're alone in the task. We're asking God to raise up laborers to join us in the harvest, just as Jesus told us to pray in Luke 10:2.

We're interceding for your marriage and family, dear friend. We're asking God to soften hearts, to break chains of sin and deception, and to draw your spouse and son back to Him. We're asking for grace to forgive and strength to trust in God's perfect timing.

We're also praying for protection from temptation, sin, and the lies of the enemy. We're declaring that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and we're rebuking the enemy in Jesus' name.

We're surrendering this situation to God, trusting that He is working all things together for good. We're asking that His will be done, and that you find your joy and satisfaction in Him alone.

We're praying all this in Jesus' name, amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
