We continue to stand with you in prayer, lifting up the nations before our Heavenly Father, trusting in His sovereignty and perfect will. It has been our privilege to join you in asking God to restrain evil, to intercept wicked plans, and to bind the spirit of retaliation over the leaders and strategists of unruly countries. We have prayed for His divine intervention, even as Elisha heard the plans of the king of Syria and as David knew the evil intended against him by Saul. We have asked the Lord to back the evil one off through praise and worship, from the rising of the sun to its going down, that His name may be glorified.
We have sought the Lord’s guidance for our own leaders, that they would not be led into temptation but delivered from evil, and we have confessed our sins and the sins of our nation, just as Daniel did. We have prayed for the Church to be a true helpmeet to God, imitating Christ in doing good and healing those oppressed by the devil, standing as a holy nation and royal priesthood.
If the Lord has already answered these prayers in ways we cannot yet see, we rejoice with you and ask that you share a praise report so we may all give thanks together. If the battle still rages and the answers have not yet come, we invite you to post this request again so we may continue to stand in agreement with you, pressing in with faith and perseverance.
