We join together in prayer for national and world leaders, as the Bible urges us to intercede for all in authority. We are reminded in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
Firstly, we pray for the salvation of world leaders and authorities that God has placed over our lives, as it is God's desire for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. We pray for their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We lift up the President, Vice President, and all Cabinet Members, asking God to grant them intelligence, character, protection, godly wisdom, and guidance. We pray that God would set a guard over their mouths and grant them the tongue of the wise.
We agree in asking for godly unity among political parties, both nationally and internationally, that they would come to agree on important issues and work together for the good of all nations. We pray against any plans of the enemy to divide or destroy and ask for angelic protection and heavenly intelligence for our leaders.
May our leaders promote unity and righteousness, with no bitterness or rivalry. May they do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. We ask that God would give angels charge over our leaders here and abroad, for it is written in Psalm 91:10-12, No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your tent. For he will give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
We pray for wisdom in worldly leaders and protection for Christian leaders and civilians worldwide. We pray for the eradication of evil in and around elections and for the silencing of false prophets and news. We look forward to the Day of the Lord, where righteousness and peace through public officials will be fully and finally realized through the return of the Messiah, Jesus the Lord's True Anointed One.
Let us humble ourselves, pray, seek God's face, and turn from our wicked ways, as God promises in 2 Chronicles 7:14 Then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Father, we lift up these leaders to You, asking for Your wisdom, guidance, and protection. May they seek Your face and turn to You in all their decisions. May they lead with humility, righteousness, and a heart for the people they serve. We pray for their salvation and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ.
NATIONAL & WORLD LEADERS NEED OUR PRAYERS, 1 Tim 2:1-4, The New Testament Urges Prayer for ALL in Authority... "I encourage, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgivings be made for all people: for kings and all in authority; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God Our Savior who desires ALL to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth." Firstly, we ask God for salvation of World leaders and authorities He has placed over our lives, Rom 13:1-2, as this is an International Prayer Site. We pray for intelligence, character and protection of the President, Vice President, and all Cabinet Members, as well as godly wisdom and guidance for them. We ask that God would set a guard over their mouths, as Psalm 141:3 says, and grant them the tongue of the wise, as Proverbs 15:2 tells us. We pray that they would be surrounded by godly counsel. May their leadership promote unity and righteousness and not have any bitterness or rivalry. May leaders "do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God," Micah 6:8. We ask you give angels charge over our leaders here and world leaders abroad, Ps 91:10-12, in Jesus' Name.
